  1. @@Kindle I'm still following you. Can't wait to be rid of my gallbladder and stop being snacky! I also have no ball in this game of regain, as I am still in the losing phase, even though it is slowed down to a snails pace. My calories stay around 600-700, with an occasional 1000 day here and there (being more careful to stop those occasional days). If a rx to help the jump start is needed....I'd totally go for it. So far the resets have been effective for my stalls.

  2. I knew I wanted the best outcome after surgery, and I knew I wanted to be healthy and live a long time, so I quit one year prior to my surgery. Cold turkey. I read a book by Allen Carr "The easy way to quit smoking", smoked while I read it, and then when I was done with the book, I threw away any cigarettes that had not yet been smoked. I have not had one since. Its all about wanting to quit. The surgery and weightloss and good health meant more to me than cigarettes and cancer.

  3. @@Kindle I only had one really large varicose vein that was surgically removed first, before he began all the sclero therapy. Basically he and his phlebotomist assistant shoot me with needles from syringes that are full of some sort of detergent that BURNS!. So, imagine being stung by wasps over and over for an hour and a half, and not be able to run away and hide. Instead, you squeeze stress balls and turn your body so they can sting you all over. But, it only lasts as long as they are sticking me. Once they are done, I have no pain. Just the annoyance of the compression hose up to my thigh for 7 days, no bathing for 3 days, etc. Fun times!
