  3. I lift weights in the gym four days a week. I have noticed since the sleeve surgery I have dramatically gotten a lot weaker. My major lifts suck as squat , bench and deadlift have almost dropped in half. I am down 40 pounds since July so I expected some strength loss but not this much has anyone experienced this?
  4. I had surgery on July 1,2014 and that morning I weighed 293 lbs at the hospital.i now weigh 265 lbs so that's is 28lbs in 5 weeks. I lost an additional 10 lbs on the 2 week pre-op liquid diet.

  7. Came home about 12pM today. Feeling pretty good . Just trying to get my clear fluids in to stay hydrated . First few days were rough I admit it ,but I am now just using Tylenol with codine to control the pain and it's seems to be doing the job. Taking one day at a time.
  8. I was told I can not drive until I am off the pain meds.

  10. I am finishing up my pre op diet tomorrow. Drink lots and lots of water . Try to stay busy when you get hungry . Most times I was not really hungry but just bored. Try to avoid going to parties of possible. I had to attend 2 birthday parties and a grad party the last two weeks. That was tough but I did it . It will go so quick , seemed like I just started my diet yesterday and today is day 14.
  11. My doctor was very strict . I can only have crystal light and sugar free cool aid and of course water I can not even use creamer in my de caffeinated coffee .i was given a list of approved drinks by my doctor.

  21. I started my process in January and I am looking at a surgery date in July. Believe me the time goes by so fast .the last few months seemed so busy with all of my nutrition and lifestyle classes. At the beginning I made a few small changes so it would be a easier transition and so I would be as successful as possible. Every month I changed one thing and it did not seem so hard . I feel like I have already accomplished a few of my goals . Just a few changes I made were giving up soda , switching to decaf coffee and going to gym at least 4 days a week.
  22. I am in the middle of the approval process . Stories with these type of results really motivate me . Good job , you look amazing . Doesn't even look like the same person.
