  1. LOVE hummus unfortunately many moons ago in my past life i learned to eat it with crispy pita chips which i would want to stay away from now. that combo would definitely be a slider for me and i could really go overboard!

these days i would use it with carrots, celery, radishes, etc.

Radishes!!! I never thought of that. I love the garlic one on red bell pepper Yum!

  2. Cry if you need to! I know I did and it helped. I had severe nausea and couldn't even think about getting my Protein in for the first month. I concentrated on staying hydrated because everything I drank hurt or made me nauseated. I lived on G2 and crystal lite and sf Jello because anything cold hurt. Try tea, chicken broth, and water/crystal lite at room temp. It might help, don't be too hard on yourself and it does get easier, one day at a time! Hang in there *hugs from NY*

  3. My surgery was April 23 and although I am on regular foods I still don't lose if I don't get my Protein Shakes in. Two a day equal 60gr and as for food I eat Protein first then maybe I eat 2pieces of broccolli or 6green Beans and I'm done. There's no way I could get my protein requirements in on food alone. I do taste things often to see how it feels and bread and Pasta are not my friends! Im down almost 50lbs but was stuck at 200 for what seemed like forever!

  4. My surgeons office NUT told us in support group the common denominator of people who regain after wls is going back to carbonated drinks, diet or regular. If you're drinking beer and diet soda that could be contributing to your not feeling full. Please don't give up and trust me when I tell you, your dr's office WANTS to hear the truth, that's the only way they can help you. Good luck!
