  1. My doc said his experience with these types of Vitamins was about 50/50 with nausea. He advised taking two of the gummy Multivitamins from costco.
  2. A doctor friend advised the following: lose weight until people think you look too skinny, then go 10 more pounds. The main problem is that westerners are so used to seeing overweight people, that even at "normal" sizes, people look too thin. I've worked in Africa with very healthy locals. Extremely muscular, tall guys that weighed probably145. They did not look too thin at all. They all looked normal. So, start ignoring your friends and family. Trust your brain and your doctor. You did all of the research, so you know what is best. Good luck! Jason
  3. Thanks! I'm in Houston and we have Whole Foods everywhere. I hadn't even thought of them. I just needed some thoughts on alternatives to these drinks. I am involved in a bunch of conferences this week and I don't think people would appreciate the shaker in the middle of a talk.
  4. OK, sorry if this has been explained elsewhere. I just can't seem to get my head around this. Why must I follow a 2 week pre-op diet that has a sole purpose of getting me into ketosis? I understand the need to shrink liver and start burning fat. Couldn't that be done eating a height Protein diet anyway? I ask this as I try to usually eat whole organic food. Suddenly shifting to protein powders and artificially sweetened Jello is just kinda gross. I don't eat jello anyway. What would it hurt if I had a few small pieces of lean sushi (no rice)? Thanks! Jason
