I am a nurse and don't know of anything that comes as a gel... I do expect to go to a pharmacy in Tijuana and pick up some meds... nausea, pain and antibiotics.... and some prilosec too.

March 2 here too! Going through A Lighter Me in Tijuana, Mexico. So far the diet hasn't been an issue.

First day of pre-op diet done! YAY!!! I can do this!!!

I am going through A Lighter Me and I started my pre-op diet today. This diet includes 2-3 Protein shakes a day and a sensible salad, with a source of lean protein for supper. This goes on from pre-op days 14-3, on third day before surgery, I go to just Clear liquids, one of those days includes the day of surgery. I have spent a lifetime of being over-weight, I can easily afford a couple days of fasting... Good luck to everyone!!!

I have been concern over this question as well. I start my pre-op diet tomorrow. I have bought Premier shakes, Muscle Pro light, another brand from Sam's Club. I have also bought the powder Protein from Sam's and Cosco. So far, the Cosco brand has less of a chalky taste. Today, I bought a powder protein mix from GNC that is not whey based and hope to use it like people use crystal light to flavor my Water, yet help to get my daily protein amounts in. Good luck!!!
