Hi SherryA, I haven't been on in a while so sorry I'm just getting to you. To tell the truth, I've struggled with some setbacks that weren't of my doing - I found out that the person who was giving me my fills missed the port so here I was thinking I was at 8.25CC in a 9CC band (lol I could eat ANYTHING I wanted) and come to find out that i only had a fraction of that (the NP wouldn't tell me what that amount was). I still managed to lose over 40 pounds since Feb, with little help I might add. Found this out on oct 17 and now have 5.25CC. WOW! Even tho the restriction is inconsistent I still have it. Now I'm facing another surgery in Dec and will have to wait weeks for a fill afterwards. Yikes!!

Hi Nora33, its interesting about the 3 year mark & divorce. When were you banded and are you going through a divorce yourself? I'd like to hear from you! BTW my name is Jeanine. I was banded back in Fed of this year.

Thanks for letting me know. I haven't had any problems but even at almost the max of my band fills (8cc out of 9, I believe) I still don't have the best restriction. Thanks for your info!

HI LB Lady, I noticed your post is quite old and I'm wondering how you're doing now? I was banded 5 months ago and am still not quite where I would like to be as far as fills but I think I'm progressing at a good rate. I'd love to know how you're doing

Hi JennyLynn, we were both banded by Dr Blackstone! I am sorry to hear about your husband. The same thing happened to my sister and she is still together with her husband. If you have done soul searching and to leave is what you want then that is that. However, it doesn't always mean that it has to be over 'cause of this.

Do you ever go to the support groups?
