Yes same here. . Transitioning from standing to sitting or laying and vice versa is tough but I can't lay flat so I prop myself up a lil. Can't wait to be able to lay on my belly again! So far I haven't had any restrictions with drinking liquids. . But I have been walking around to move the gas along. Made my post op appt for Wednesday. Let me know how yours goes!

Hey im 2 days poat but the pain killer liquid vicoden isn't helping at all so I called my surgeon and he said to add liquid motrin which helps only a lil. I'm not hungry at all which is not common for me lol.. Getting in 1000 mls of liquid (two 16.9 fl oz bottles) and 2 servings of Protein shakes a day is more enough for now. I think the gas is what's causing most the pain but today is worse when the gas is passing by or through the band... Sharp pain when that happens. Im taking gas x and walking as much as I can. It seems ppl say the first 2 days are the worst of it. I'm managing and im extremely excited for this life style change! Im wondering if anyone else feels their band or port afer surgery. Not sure where my port is but im thinking is on my left because it's not near an incision and sore.

My incisions

I'm 2 days post surgery, is it normal to feel pain at the actual band? I'm thinking maybe it's gas passing through since its not consistent? Im taking gas x strips. The liquid vicoden they prescribed isn't working at allll for pain. My left side is so sore and painful at 3 incisions. I have 5 incisions ... One 6 inches beneath the center of my breasts and 4 across about 3 inches above my belly button.... The top and 2 bottom left are killer. Esp at night cause I tend to sleep on my side. Any suggestions or advise? ??

So I go in for surgery in the morning! I want nervous until right now. I'm a lil nauseous from my nerves. But I'm excited for tomorrow! Preop was a struggle.. cheated here and the but all will go smooth I'm sure! Wish me luck

GAS X helps a ton.. They make dissolving sheets you place on your tongue!

I know what you mean by the shakes but I found such a great tasting one! Go grab Designer whey Protein.. They have vanilla almond, chocolate, double chocolate, vanilla praline! Mix it with almond milk 30, 40 or 60 cal. I find the 90 cal one too sweet when mixed with the vanilla flavors. Make sure you use a Blender Bottle or for a thicker consistency use a blender with 4 or 5 ice cubes! You can find designer whey at the vitakin shoppe or online! P.s the nerves are completely normal. Don't worry you'll be totally fine! My surgery is in 4 days! im convinced the pre-op diets also aid in putting us on edge as well lol.

Had my pre-op exam today! Everything's a GO! One more weekof liquids!! April 16th here I come!!! Woohoo!!
