  1. Wynnie-yes you r correct. It confuses me even more when I read the post because everyone is different . I have an appointment with my family dr in two weeks which we r to discuss my diet. Thanks for you suggestion . Take care.
  2. Hello sleevers, I am four months post op and I had it done in MX. The problem is that I haven't seen a dietician and I am confused on how much I'm suppose to eat. I've lost 56lbs so far averaging 1 lbs a week. Can someone please tell me how much protein, carbs, fat and water intake I'm to have. I am light head at times and I know that i am not drinking enough water I might get 10oz of liquid a day . I am taking 1 multi vitamin, 1000 bitien, b 12 , calcium and magnesium . Please let me know if I am missing something.

  6. Hello everyone, I am freaking out with all the negative replies for surgeries from Mexico . I'm leaving Monday for Ty and my dr is Garcia. What worries is how do we really know what they do to our stomachs . Can anyone tell me if an ultra sound is done after the surgery to show you your new stomach? Few people have found our years later about stomach was not all removed or have other major issues. Dear Lord all I want to do is get a healthy life, I don't want to fix one problem and then a new one starts.

  9. I'm on day 2 liquid diet and I'm feeling hungry. I've been told to drink soup and 8 glass of water as well . My surgery is May 6 in Mexico. We can do it!
  10. Yes your are correct , I just started to panic. I emailed the surgeon right after talking to my friend and now I'm waiting for his reply. Also I've been getting a lot if positive feedback and the same suggestion with the compression socks and walking a lot. Thanks everyone. I feel calmer now. So grateful for this site!

  12. Can someone please tell me their experience with flying after surgery. My friend said that the doctors in Mexico don't tell you anything about this or give you anything like blood thinners.

Well I'm excited and can't wait to go to Mexico. It seems that everything is falling in order. I'm just worried about my pre op diet cuz I hate protein shakes.
