202, so close to onderland! My goal is to hit 198 by Halloween
-
I am down 85# and I also worry if I have lost enough to be considered on track. There is a weight prediction page on www.realize.com that you can put in your starting weight. It will calculate where you should be at 6,12,18 months depending on your procedure. I am in the 50% right now but I need to lose 12# to be in the top 20%! I doubt I can lose that much by the 21st but I'm trying. But I've yet to workout.

I am getting excited about my progress thus far but a new thrill is on its way. I am accepting the beachbody challenge. ..T25 will be here any day now and I'm going to nail it, dig deeper and all that. Here is a horrifying visual of where I started to where I've gotten so far.
Wow. you lost 70lbs in two months. What have you been doing to keep from stalling? I have only lost 54 in two months. I keep stalling!

My surgery date is June 23rd. My doctor called yesterday and said my pre op labs came back with Low Potassium and h. Pylori. But these should be treatable before my surgery as long as I started the meds right away.
But holy smokes. I have to take 4 meds, 4 times a day for the h. Pylori and they are all timed. Such as, can't take one of the meds within 2 hours of a meal or the other meds. So I had to sit down and write out a pill and meal schedule.
I still haven't heard what they want to do about the low potassium. Anyone else experience that?
I had h. Pylori a year before surgery after having so many troubles from my band. When I started treatment I could not adhere to it because of the terrible metallic taste it have me. So I never took the treatment. Year later I had revision surgery and nothing was ever brought up about it, but untreated h. Pylori can lead to stomach cancer. So if you can side effects be sure to comply with your treatment.

Hi. Well not sure what is happening now. I am 7 weeks post op. I am still trying to read my full and hunger signs. The last few days every time I eat I get the heaves. I am also at a weight stand still. I haven't lost anything in almost a week. I am at about 35 lbs. Has this happened to anyone? What did you do?
I have lost around 43, but then I fluctuate and will go up 3 lbs the next day. Of course I'm still weighing everyday. I am also having a hard time understanding my hunger bc I will get hunger pains right after I eat.

Woot woot my highest weight was 270 and today I weigh 165!You look great, what did you do as far as diet past first month. I have lost 43 in my FIRST five weeks, but I have stalled out bc I'm hungry all the time. I walk every night. What kind of work out did you do?

Hi I had surgery April 1st. No complications and have lost 30 lbs. so far but all of a sudden I am starving. I'm still hungry even after eating correct sized portions. Has anyone experienced this? The one thing I was so looking forward to was not being so hungry. This is too soon!
I am experiencing the same hunger you are after eating. I have just been trying to slow down eating and drinking more Water. I also ignore the feeling a lot, but if I will wait a few minutes after eating and still feeling hungry then the hunger subsides.

I'm in the begining stages of proceeding with the bypass surgery. My doctor talked about having the surgery using a robot. She said she'd have a better view, it would look as if she was inside my body not a 2d picture on a screen. And it showed that studies indicated some patients were experience less pain after the surgery because the doctors weren't using their arm muscles to do the surgery - less jiggling of internal organs. One of my concerns is that she would be offsite during the operation. What would happen if something went wrong?
I am a robotics nurse in surgery and I can tell you that most doctors after never completely out of the room when they use the robot. They are just using a console away from you, kinda in the corner. They have to be close by in case something goes wrong. There is also scrubs and a nurse addy the operating table during entire procedure. Most patients do very well with these robot procedures.

Wls4me because one day out of frustration, after quitting weight watchers for me I said to my husband "weight loss surgery for me it is now". Not very creative
My hooker name however: Buffy Fifth Avenue. Sounds like I'm a high class hooker ?de1c
My name comes from my dream to one day be skinny and beautiful wearing skimpy clothes. I was a lap band to bypass revision so I finally feel this may happen
