  1. Hello all! And thank you for the prediction tool. . I am slightly above the 50%, but not in the 20%. What I take this tool to mean is that I am on tract. Just like when you have a baby the doctor keeps tract of height and weight for age group. . It means that we are experiencing average weight loss for our surgery. In knowing that, I plan to kick things up a notch. ???? I am very Encouraged

  2. Don't be a slave to the scale. My surgery was the same day as yours and I am down 60 pounds. I have been on a scale stall for the last 2 weeks but I know that I'm losing inches. I put on my work scrubs this morning and they are totally too big and last week they were not. I think sometimes these stalls happen so that your body can catch up with your weight loss. I intend to buy a tape measure today and measure my weight loss more by inches then by the scale. Keep moving stay motivated the scale does not rule you!

  3. Today, 3 days short of being two months out from Surgery (4/2), I am officially lighter than I have been in 25 years, and I'm very, very happy...

This has been an extraordinary journey so far. Sometimes far more difficult, sometimes far easier than I had ever imagined. So far, very, very worthy of the trip.

Tuesday of this week, I treated myself to a new set of shirts, and a couple of pairs of pants, each of which were two sizes smaller than I've worn forever...

    Have a great day everyone.

  4. Thank you for your responses to my concern.

No changes this morning. I forced myself to finally shower.

I looked at my stomach at the incisions and the incision on the left side where all this pain/pressure/tingling is stemming from looks different than the others. I kinda looks my skin was folded inward, like a Tummy Tuck. So now that area of skin folds inward and the rest of my incisions just hang naturally on me.....

I don't know if I am describing this to the best of my ability. I called the nurse at the bariatric center to discuss this. In the voicemail I started crying, of course. This is the first time I cried about this whole process.

Has anyone heard/experienced an incision like this?

I just am praying so badly this isn't a mistake..... ?de13

Mine did the same thing, fold in that is. I believe that is normal. It is still swollen and will be like that for a few weeks. Try to calm down and relax. Stay hydrated and rest.
