  3. I had surgery on 8-20-1014. I have lost about 66 pounds. I thought that, losing what I have, my cycle would become regular. I've never had a cycle on my own. So I don't know if this would make a difference. But I am still not having a period on my own. I've had a couple of instances where I spotted but no flow. I HATE going to the doctor so I've waited to see if my body would eventually correct itself. But no such luck. So I have put on my big girl panties and started going to a gyno. He has put me on metformin and in a month I will go back and we will talk about him putting me on clomid. I REALLY want to be a mother. I was just wondering if anyone else was in my situation where they are still not getting a cycle after losing weight.

  9. I had surgery on 8/20/2014. My start weight was 236, surgery weight was around 208, and current weight is 168. I've lost 68 pounds and feel great. But I still have about 38 more pounds to go till I get to my goal weight.
  10. My NUT said 30 non vegetable carbs a day.

  18. Mine is August 20th. I am so excited.
  19. I called BCBS Friday afternoon and they told me that I am approved. So it took 5 days for me.
  20. I finished all the requirements and paperwork and gave them to the insurance specialist Monday. She told me that it would probably be the end of next week till I hear something. I called BCBS today to see if they had recieved my paperwork..I found out that they had and I have already been approved. I was so excited I wanted to cry. So I guess it was 5 days for me.
  21. I'm from Murfreesboro tn. Just wating on insurance approval..
  22. I also have BCBS Fed. I am wating to hear something back too. This part sucks.
  23. My insurance specialist told me two weeks. I should know something by the end of next week. So I am right there with you.
  24. I also have BCBS Federal. I was told you have to have a BMI above 40 with no co-morbilities and if you are 35- 39.9 you have to have 2 co-morbilities. I am also having to do a 3 month weight loss program with my PCP. I also had to have 2 years of doctor's notes with a documented weight. They only needed one from each year.
  25. I haven't had to take one either. I haven't heard anything about having to take one.
  26. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) PCOS is a problem in which a woman's hormones are out of balance. It can cause problems with your periods and make it difficult to get pregnant. It also may cause unwanted changes in the way you look. If it isn't treated, over time it can lead to serious health problems, such as diabetes and heart disease. Most women with PCOS grow many small cysts on their ovaries. That is why it is called polycystic ovary syndrome. The cysts are not harmful but lead to hormone imbalances. http://www.webmd.com/women/tc/polycystic-ovary-syndrome-pcos-topic-overview
