Last week I was able to schedule my surgery date and pre-op appointment under the assumption that my insurance company would approve the surgery. Today I contacted my insurance and confirmed that they did in fact approve my surgery! So come July 21 I will officially begin my new journey!

Today is five months since surgery

Today is my five month surgiversary (funny, my phone has that as a learned word in my dictionary now!). I'm happy with my new body but bummed that I feel like I'm on a little bit of a roller coaster. But I expected that. Stats:

I'm surprised that with that much weight loss my clothing sizes, especially jeans, haven't changed a lot. I was in a 24, albeit snug haha, and am just now in an 18. But that means I'm close to misses sizes so I'm excited about that!! No regrets though, ever!!

I had a NSV this weekend. I wore a Ralph Lauren size 14 dress to my bridal shower. I started this journey a size 22. I'm 2 lbs away from losing 60 lbs!

I use the Dasani Water flavors. That's the only way I can dink water.

Yep, still an issue for me sometimes. I use lots of the flavor packets. My surgeon said whatever I need to do to get my water in. And it's still a struggle sometimes!!
