  1. I have been taking a full body picture every week and then I just scroll thru them and you can totally see the transformation. It really helps. I too have the ugly bottom tummy but nothing a good control top panty can't help
  2. I was sleeved March 31st. I'm actually at my 3 month appointment as I type I'm down 60 total. 10 of which was from the 6 month insurance required diet before my surgery. I'm doing really well. I have drinkable yogurt with added protein powder in the mornings. I cannot stand the protein shakes anymore lol makes me gag at this point.
  3. Im also a diet dr pepper addict. I bought the diet dr pepper flavor for soda stream and added it to plain water and it was absolutely disgusting. I gave them up in Janurary and crave a nice cold can.
  4. Lisa I am in the same boat lol I bought one of those tubes your talking about and the minute I opened it and smelled it...I wanted to puke lol maybe I'll just plug my nose and do it
  5. Good. I will keep u in my thoughts. Hopefully it's just the gas that's still bothering you. Please let me know.
  6. Have you called your doctor? That doesn't seem right at all. I have no pain and drinking my fluids and protein shakes with no problems.
  7. My surgery was also 3/31. What pain are you in? I feel great. Except for the dang sugary shakes. PS I'm so gonna try the taco seasoning trick lol
  8. Try sleeping on your side with a plump pillow pressed against and slightly under your belly so it supports it. I went home from the hospital to sleeping on both sides. I'm a week post op.
  9. I was sleeved on March 31st and went thru the same feelings of regret and pain. I woke up this morning dreading the day and was so happy to discover I felt so much better and was able to get down more of the shakes and water. Try using the dasani or crystal light to flavor the water. It's easier that way.
  10. I'm finding it really hard to get the shakes in. I feel like there's an air bubble or something stopping me lol
  11. I was sleeved on the 31st as well and having all the same issues. I feel like I'm not getting enough water or nutrients. Felt very weak in the shower today. The gas x strips really do help and getting up and moving to work it out.
  12. Me too Tarabara. It's crazy. I go to take a gulp of water like normal and immediately remember I can't. I just hope it gets easier cuz I'm not getting much in.
  13. I was just sleeved on Monday as well as my gallbladder removed. I asked to do it all at once because I didn't want to deal with another surgery. I had several stones that weren't bugging me but would most likely cause issues after the sleeve. I have a couple more incisions then just the sleeve and the pain I'm having is from the gallbladder removal. I'm glad it's over now and I can start healing and feeling better.
  14. Ahhhhh this is it!!!!
  15. Good luck AJ!! Hope all goes smoothly for you!!
  16. Thank you so much ladies!! I'm trying to stay calm and clean the house so I don't have to do it when I get home lol
  17. This is the last weekend before the beginning of my new healthy life. I'm scared to death. Scared my liver didn't shrink enough, scared to be put under, scared of the pain and scared of the lifestyle change but optimistic at the same time. Ugh.
  18. I just did the same thing yesterday. My surgery is next Monday. I woke up this morning determined to be 100% after beating myself up last night. We're human and it's bound to get best of us sometimes. Move on and do better in the following days. At least that's what I'm telling myself lol
  19. Started my pre-op liquid diet on Wednesday. My surgery is Monday the 31st. The realization that my surgery was a week away and I wasn't going to be eating for quite a while overwhelmed me and I broke the diet in a big way yesterday Back on it today. Scared but excited all rolled into one.
