I started my journey in January 2014. I was approved for surgery in February and am hoping to get a date for April or May. I have been overweight since 6th grade and am looking forward to finally saying goodbye to these excess pounds. I have lost and gained more times than I can count.

Other than that, I enjoy being active and love traveling. The beach is my favorite place to visit. I love Florida and wouldn't be surprised if I moved there some day. I have done CrossFit off and on over the past few years and am looking forward to it being a permanent part of my routine after surgery. 

I am also a HUGE sports fan. I love the Cubs, Blackhawks, and Bears (not much of a basketball fan). I went back to school a few years ago and am just finishing up my Bachelors degree. I graduate in May.
