  1. Congratulations!!! I know the feeling as I just made it to Onderland today!! My lowest adult weight was 190 and that was 10 years ago. I was only that weight for about a minute. I cannot wait to see 189. Goodbye to the 200's forever!
  2. I am also 6 weeks out. Thankfully, I have not had a real stall yet. The scale just never moves fast enough for me. I usually eat 5-600 calories a day but 2 times a week I get up to 800.
  3. Ok Here are my numbers, Starting weight of 202, July 4th Goal weight of 190. Good luck everybody!
  4. I'm in! Excited for my first challenge! Will post my numbers on Friday.
  5. That's awesome! I cannot wait, I have 7 pounds to go. I was sleeved April 23rd. My starting weight was 237, day of surgery weight was 227 and I am now 206.
  6. I will be going to Disney too. I will be 3 1/2 months post op. Thankfully my mother lives in Florida and will be meeting us the first night for dinner. She is going to bring me a case of Premier Protein and a case of water. I plan to have a Premier Protein every morning for breakfast. We do not have the dining plan. I have already cancelled all of the buffet meals we had planned. We will still do a few table services and I plan to get the highest protein appetizer I can find or a salad with grilled chicken. Hoping I can have salad at that time. At the quick service meals, some have salads, or I will do a sandwich and not eat the bread. Best of luck to you. We go to Disney every summer, I am looking forward to being a little lighter this year and not hiding behind my children for all of the pictures.
  7. Sorry you are still having a difficult time getting everything in and still experiencing pain. I have been able to get all of my requitrements in (2 protein shakes and 48 oz of other clear liquid) since day 3. As soon as I stopped taking the pain meds it seemed to get easier. I had my post op visit yesterday and they advanced me to cream soups, yogurt and farina. It's been like heaven. Other than my navel being a little tender, I have no pain at all.
  8. Wow, I must be very lucky. I am 6 days out right now and have no pain at all. My only complaint is that my navel is a little tender.
  9. I have been wondering about this too. I have been getting all of my fluids in and never feel like I have to go to the bathroom. I do go a couple of times a day just because I know I should try but not much comes out? I am 5 days post op now. I have an appointment with my surgeon tomorrow and this is one of my questions.
  10. Would love to hear what the on call dr says about the oral thrush. I have it too but figured I would wait until tomorrow to call.
  11. I have to say, I am feeling so much better today. I am almost done with my first Protein drink 3 hours before I was able to finish it yesterday. I am hoping to go to my son's lacrosse game today but only if I can get the diarrhea pver with before we leave. I will keep you in my prayers Penny. The thought of having a cough while going through all of this is horrible. Hang in, better days are sure to come.
  12. So sorry you have a cold Penny. That must be awful. I hope it clears up quickly. Yes, I have diarrhea after every Protein shake.
  13. Yes I still have the gas 3 days post op. Today I was finally able to reach my protein requirements but certainly not my water, Have only been able to get down about 16 oz so far. I'm going to try to do another 4 and an ice pop before bed. I do find that walking helps with the gas. I do laps around my house while sipping. Hoping tomorrow is better. For me, the incisions are the easiest part. They are a little sore but not bad at all. The gas is bad, the stuff coming out of my butt (sorry TMI) is horrible and I also have an awful case of thrush in my mouth. I am also exhausted. Hoping to feel a little better tomorrow,
  14. I was also sleeved on the 23rd. There was no way I could have posted that day, I was in so much pain and really out of it. They had me walking right away also. I came home on the 24th and really have just been miserable since, though today I feel a little better. I have no hunger at all and the thought of sipping the protein drinks and water makes me ill. I cannot stomach the pain meds crushed in the sugarfree applesauce, so I have been skipping them. I am hoping each day will get easier.
  15. I am also 3 days out and having a very difficult time getting my protein and liquid requirements in for the day. I only got about half in yesterday. Hoping for an improvement today. This is certainly a lot harder than I thought it would be.
  16. I got home earlier today. I feel a lot worse than I thought I would. Very sore, gassy and nauseas. They have me crushing my pain pills in applesauce to take them. It's pure torture. Hoping tomorrow will be better.
  17. Best wishes to you. I will be leaving for the hospital in a half hour. I'm not sure how I am feeling, just hoping for the best.
  18. Wow! Can't believe it's here. I have to be at the hospital at 12:15. Best wishes to all of us! I'm pretty nervous.
  19. We are all getting so close. My nerves have kicked in! I hope you all are doing well. Happy Easter.
