  1. I diwnloaded my fitness pal and it helps me to balance and stay within my goals as far as carbs/protein/fats and vitamins!! : ) oh ya and calories! I am hitting around 600 calories. 50% protein, 30% fats 20% carbs.... Anyone have any idea if this is what it shod be? I just guessed!hab
  2. I fit into an XL pair of yoga pants!!! I haven't worn an XL anything for decades!!! Yeah!!
  3. This is my question too!! How many calories a day? I am at 600 to 800 and people say it isn't enough! That's why I hit big stalls?? It's exasperating hearing them preach to me over and over!! Doc said three meals a day one snack.. Protein first them veggies... Following this I can only get 600 to 800 and sometimes less in!
  4. Awesome!!! Did you hit many stalls?? How many calories did you try to stay at? People keep telling me I'm eating too few calories and that's why I am in a stall?? Should I up my calories?? I'm so confused!! My doc said three meals a day and protein first then veggies the carb if room ( there never is room) haha any advice? I go to the gym.. Was doing the circuit and treadmill but people tell me because I'm not eating enough my body is just feading off my muscle... Ugh!! I can't win!! I just want to hit onederland and wear a nice dress and look good for my sons wedding in October! Hah well... And be healthy!! So.... Ya..... So you have any advice!?? Anything will help! : ) did I say you look awesome? Haha Thanks for sharing!!
  5. 213 slow and steady wins the race! Hahaha
  6. Wow!! How long did it take for you to get that small? I keep stalling and it's driving me crazy!! I am 7 weeks post op and down only 37 pounds. I'm trying to guess what size I will be in October my son is getting married... I bought a size 16 dress and almost fit into it.
  7. No carbonation for me!! I just want my jack on ice again! Hahah gonna wait another month after my next doc appointment!
  8. I had a big glass of sangria last night sipping it over an hour and I was absolutely fine !! It was yummy!
  9. April 23rd here!! I am on no food restrictions any more! I always pick Protein packed foods though! Had prime rib last night and it was deeeeeliscious!! I couldn't eat a lot but my son finished it for me! Haha I haven't had any issues at all. The only thing I had and am still having problems with is stalls!! I can only get between 600 and 800 calories in following the docs orders of three meals a day and one afternoon snack. Hate the stalls!!! They drive me nuts!! Keep thinking I need to do something different!! But nothing works so I just keep plugging along and not weighing myself so much!! Hope everyone is doing well!!! It would be great to hear from everyone!!! SW: 270. CW: 214. GW: 170
  10. Thanks! Gonna call and see if I can go in and talk to my NUT. : )
  11. 7 weeks from when I left the hospital... 36 lbs down.... 56 all together!! Confused about how many calories I should be shooting for?? Using my fitness pal. Have 600 but everyone keeps telling me that's too low?? Anyone??
  12. I added you!! Do you know how many calories we should have as our goal?? I'm so confused! Haha
  13. I am almost two months post op.... Have never been sick.... Eat so much healthier than I ever have.... Kind of forced to since you can only eat so much. I am healthier than I have been in a long time. Have dropped a total of 56 ponds and am now comfortable going to the gym. I actually feel like it is doing something where as before I would just eat that much more!! Haha don't let other people's fears stop you! The only regret I have is that I didn't do it sooner!!!! Best thing besides my kids and husband that ever happened to me!! It's not an easy journey but once you get past the post op diets ect. And can eat normal your friends will see that it was the best decision you could have made!! Because they will see that you are making better food choices so you can meet your daily requirements!! Protein.... Vitamins.. Ect.
  14. My NUT said it's better to have a shot of jack on ice than a glass of wine. Less calories and sugar.
  15. My doc said 6 months... My friend who has the same surgery a year ago said she had drinks after 6 weeks! Blah! Not sure and gonna ask the doc again end if July at me three month check up!!
  16. Do you know how long you have to wait to have a drink?
  17. I don't have any problems with fruit. I especially love watermelon! Yummm gives you the crunch and is naturally sweet!
  18. I think I am gonna go back to having my Chike ice coffee again! Haha Is anyone having difficulties with low potassium?
  19. Hmmm maybe I should cut back on the calories... No idea trying anything!! Hah
  20. Hmmm maybe I should cut back on the calories... No idea trying anything!! Hah
  21. Oh you are so lucky... I am not sure what I am doing wrong... Maybe I am not eating enough calories!?? My fitness pal keeps telling me I should be eating 1200 calories but I never come close and then it says my body could go into starvation mode... Maybe that's the problem. I dunno but it sure is frustrating cause I am following doctors orders if three meals a day and protein first then veggies and I never have room for carbs.... And I have Greek yogurt and watermelon for snacks... Ahhhh but I can't get over 600 calories in!!
  22. Walk walk walk!!! ; ) good luck!! You will be happy that you did it!!
