Today was my first day working out on a treadmill. Im 1 month po. I took it easy in the beginning then I picked up the pace a lil. Over all I felt great. The whole time I was working out I kept thinking about lifting weights. I know it's still to early for that but its kind of wierd going to the gym and lifting weights. Maybe in another monther I will start lifting. Any suggestions on weight lifting

Hello Sleevers, Im 25 days post-op, and feeling great. One great thing I have noticed is my sexual appetite has grown enormously. I want it morning, noon, and night. Just 2 months ago my fiancee would complain that my sexual drive was to low. Now the woman is hiding from me, lol. My hw 360 SW 350 CW 320 GW 200. My woman told me that she scared what sex is going to be like at my GW. The smallest I have ever been in are relationship is 285. This new drive I have is another positive affect of the sleeve. This another confirmation that I made the right choice. So has the sleeve changed you?

I was sleeved 3/26/14. HW 360 SW 350 Cw 325. So far I have no regrets for taking the life change on. I look forward to what the future holds. Oh wait, the other day I had my first near death experience. I ate my breakfast (egg whites and ground turkey) then I drank water right after and left home for school. Well I had to pull over and pray the pain would stop, lol. My chest was so tight, listen I learned my lesson and it wont happen again. Any fun stories out there

Weight loss surgery is NOT easy... the things I wished they had warned me about.
bigjoe59 replied to Iambeautiful's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I just had my surgery one week ago on the 26th of march. Luckily I had kaiser who reauired me to take a 12 week course to educate me on all the positives and negatives. Im sorry you went in without adequate info, I hope all is better now. The mind is a powerful tool if you know what to expect it easier to deal with. Good luck. -
Lol, yeah I know. It feels good though. I cant wait until I can hit the gym hard. Walking gets boring but its needed
