Hello everyone my name is Amanda. I am 27 years old and my birthday is March 24th so 28 is right around the corner... I have 3 beautiful children 2 boys and one girl. I have always been a little over weight but after each child i got bigger and bigger which lead to a deep depression! The doctors put me on almost every medicine but nothing seemed to make me better also i would go on a drinking binge almost every weekend to numb the pain i felt and then would result in being 100 times more depressed. My kids were getting older and i was not being the mother i wanted to be for them i started praying every night which was a little out of the norm i believed but not so much of a spiritual person at that time. I finally got to the dr and weighed in at 398 I went through every emotion you could think of but for once in my life i was READY to feel it and deal with it. My doc told me to consider weight loss surgery and i went straight home and started to look up info about it. That next weekend went to a weight loss surgery conference and started my journey On November 21st I started my dietician and now four months later i have lost 38 lbs and still counting. Things i did was started off no calorie drinks the first month and then the next month i watched portions by the third month i was eating healthy foods and now this month for the first time ever i am consistently working out and doing so much more with my kids which i can tell are so much happier! I am looking forward to my surgery and my second chance at life. I want to do so much in life and i have so much potential that i want to share my God given destiny in life. I am funny I know how to make people laugh and have a good time. I am a little loud but thats just me. :D I am so happy i came across this website while just browsing the web about weight loss surgery i am really looking forward to it. I get to schedule my surgery in April! :)
