    Pale colored stool

Gallbladder?? It could be that. I was told greyish stools are a sign of gallbladder disease I had mine removed 7 years ago- but funny you say that because the pain on my right side feels like a mild gallbladder attack even though it's gone. Very weird- can't get into see the doc til next Wednesday!
  2. Hi- a year and two months post op gastric bypass. I've lost 180 pounds with 30 left until goal. In the past two days I've noticed the color of my stool is a pale whitish yellow but normal consistency. Today I feel a bit nauseated after I ate but not bad. Just under my right rib cage feels sore off and on. The only thing I've done different is I started prednisone (steroid) for hip inflamation from an old injury but I've never seen or noticed my stool looking like this. Has anyone experienced this or read about this? Is it even a gastric bypass issue?

    Pale colored stool

I think you're right- I'm going to get it checked out before I stress out! That's for the reply! Helps to know it's not the prednisone.

  8. We obviously all had weight problems due to many reasons but for certain we ran from emotional issues or used food as a filler to avoid our issues. Now that you are losing weight, not only have you lost your "coping skill" of eating for comfort- you also have to realize food was our addiction. So feelings you have avoided all these years are now sneaking back and your old way to cope and ignore them was by becoming addicted to food- is now gone. So you are now dealing with all of these emotions you have stuffed- no idea how to cope since your old way is gone- and you can't feed that addiction of stuffing your emotions. Get therapy my friend, to learn what your issues are and how to cope in a healthier way. Keep your brain busy each time you want to eat, go for a walk, journal, call a friend keep yourself busy and far from food until it passes. Retrain your brain. Good luck- and nice to know I wasn't the only feeling "mental"!

    Binge Eating?!

Definately detox the sugar- intake more water and to curve the sugar issue- fruit was a great idea. Agree with what was posted above about your body telling u it needs something- retrain your brain and feed the craving with healthy stuff
