So I'm pre-sleeve hopefully schedule in May. I have been thinking about the things I will miss in my new journey. I have decided that I will miss gulping Water the most. That satisfying yummy-ness from water. Lol
I want to ask what is it that y'all miss the most. :-)

Had my psych eval today. I was totally nervous. I mean she could've made or broke me. She said she loved me and thought I was realistic about this journey I'm about to embark on. So grateful. I am also grateful for this site. Everyone's stories have helped me so much. Knowing what to do and what not to do is great. Thanks everyone!! Soon I will be sleeved as well. :-)

Llunker. As I was reading a couple of response I also felt like they were being hard on you. We all know this isn't a whaa laaa and boom model pops out. I wish I could answer your question. I am still pre op. I wish you and your fiancée the best of luck in your journey. Maybe plan the wedding for a year. That way there's no pressure to be in a hurry. It does take time and can be different for each person. Good luck.

I work in surgery everyday. Even tho your surgeon has only done 26 sleeves has he done any other bariatric/general surgeries. And always remember hun he will have another doc with him if it's early in his career. I would allow him to operate on me. But in the end do what you're comfortable with not what everyone else says. If you feel confident then be confident in him. :-) best of luck

I find it hard to hide because I work in surgery where I'm gonna to have my procedure done. I was reluctant to tell people. But the people that know have been very nice and supportive. I'm grateful. In the end it's only what matters to you and how you feel. Stay strong and tell whomever you want. It's def all your choice. Just don't let anyone make you feel like you're making the wrong decision, it's yours and only you know if it's right for you. :-) best of luck.

Well tomorrow is the day I find out if I'm stable enough for the sleeve. I think my head is in the right place. I don't expect a miracle just a great tool to assist me in becoming a healthier adult. I want to live and be comfortable and I don't want my daughter to grow up and possibly be embarrassed of her fat mom.... Fingers crossed that everything goes good.

Thanks. I'm pretty realistic about the situation. And I am waiting to be able to be here for my daughter too. I don't expect to be a model just feel better. I love food. But I love my baby more. Thanks for replying.

Thanks for your input. I am a little worried about the exam. But I think I have the right idea. I don't expect a miracle just a little assistance.

Hello everyone. I am new to this site. I have decided on the sleeve. My insurance approves it easily no medically supervised diet. I do have to pass a psych exam, which I do this Thursday. Hopefully all goes well. I'm excited reading all these great stories of everyone's journeys. I am however feeling a little worried. What happens if I fail. This is my biggest fear.
