  2. Thanks @@tera1982 good luck to you as well. @@heatherg17 I did not have to take that. I was told clear liquids all day, make sure it's nothing red, and nothing to eat/drink after midnight.
  3. I'm going pick up a container of Miso soup. A large container too.....
  4. The countdown begins if you are on all clear liquids today I wish you best of luck. I am wanting a protein shake???????? right about now.

  7. Nah, here is my impressive pic: IMG_20151205_170009-01.jpeg I actually just took that one today. I was looking for a new compression shirt and these new cold weather ones were out. Very comfortable, but over $50! Looking good. Looks as if you are aging backwards. Good job!
  8. Thinking of you and wishing you best!!!!!
  9. What time do you have to be at the hospital and what time is your procedure scheduled for? How are you doing on the pre-op? I have to be at the hospital at 6am surgery scheduled for 10am. My pre-op has been good with no major struggles.

  16. I was told 2 protein shakes a day or protein bar (breakfast and lunch), I can have 1/2 cup fruit 3x/day as a snack, unlimited non-starchy veggies. Dinner consist of 3 ounces of meat (preferably lean), small salad with 2 tablespoon fat free dressing, mouse sized baked potatoe or 6 unsalted crackers, and 1/2 cup of fruit. I also have to get in 64 oz of water. Oh yea I can drink Powerade zero, decaf tea/coffee. To answer you question I was told 60-80g of protein.
  17. I'm going to be honest I am scared. My thoughts are consumed with "what ifs" and of the surgery day in and day out. I pray that all goes well and I try to think positive but it's been a challenge. My surgery is December 8th.
  18. I have a hubby and a 16yo athletic son. I have prepared two weeks worth of Frozen Crockpot meals that they will begin to eat after the surgery. Each meal should last two days. When the meal runs all they have to do is get the next meal out of the freezer and follow the directions on the outside of the bag and cook it in the crockpot. The meals can be frozen up to 3 months. Just an idea.
  19. No please keep sharing your story. I am scheduled for the 8th of December. How are you feeling? Please feel me in.
  20. Thank you ladies for letting me know I'm not the only one whose thoughts are running rampant. I have been so excited about getting this surgery the closer to my date the more scared and nervous I become. I try to think positive but it's hard.
  21. Mine is also. Where are you located? Fort Worth Texas! Neat! I use to live in Plano. I miss the area. I have to be at the hospital at 6am surgery scheduled for 10am. The agony of waiting. Let's stay in touch even though we are miles apart.
