Hey April 21sters. I doing well. Almost 40lbs gone. Im 239. I havent had any issues thus besides if its too much sugar in something. Makes me go to the bathroom FAST. I hate you guys are having issues. I hope it gets better.

Im right with everyone. I had every intentions on following my doctor and the NUT program for me. Im 5 weeks out and I find my self sliding on that slope. Trying things I know I shouldnt. I took my 1yr old to the mall saturday, armed with my Protein smoothie. I was going to get him some shoes because striderite was having a sale. Im thinking I can get some walking in while im there. I didnt realize striderite was right next to the nestle toll house cookie shop. I got one cookie. A big cookie that is. Your mind thinks for you. Telling me ive been good. Whats one cookie going to do. I didnt eat it til the evening but goodness I paid for it during the night. Body wasn't ready for those sugars. So I know it will be a struggle for me that I will battle for the rest of my life.

Hey all!!
I'm down 30 pounds and feeling pretty great. Thankfully I have no complications and have been able to work out regularly - and hour of cardio most days (elliptical, treadmill, bike).
I had a family wedding this past weekend and I looked fabulous People were amazed at my transformation and I just felt wonderful.
See my before and after below. The green dress is from June 2013. The black dress, this past Sunday, is 60 pounds lighter(30 pre-op, 30 post-op).
It's also been confirmed that I'm no longer diabetic nor hypertensive and can stop those medications!
I hope everyone else is doing well!
Hmk715 you look Amazing! I have 2 weddings in June. I hope I look as good as you. So glad you are doing well. Are you regular foods yet?

I know im a couple days late but Happy One Month Ladies!! Hows everyone doing?
Ive been great so far. Im down about 30lbs. Ive been adding some exercise now. Just walking right now but I will be doing some work out classes in June.

Mokamami-I sent you a message a while ago. Get in touch with me when you can. I am right with you with those Protein Shakes. Hard to tolerate for 4 weeks..I can only stomach one a day.Tony gave me some other options not the NUT.

I watch a lot of food shows and commercials. LOL I have a family of all men. Hubby and 3 boys and I cook for them. I will be 4 weeks out on the 21st and I am on full liquids. It can be difficult at times to cook knowing I can't eat. I just try to make sure I have whatever I am eating or rather sipping on ready and prepared. And trust me..I will be honest..I am one that has tried to eat food that my sleeve was not ready for. Its not fun. My best advice is to follow your doctors plan and prepare for the tough times. It will get better.

I am currectly on full liquids stage. I can have yogurt so my plain is to get Fage plain Greek yogurt and get either peaches in the cup with their natural juices blend them to puree or baby food peaches all natural and mix it together. or I will put the greek yogurt in my nutribullet with frozen or fresh fruit and veggies and blend into a smoothie. I check with my NUT. He said as long as there are no lumps I am good to go. I do plain to get the unflavored Protein powder for additional Protein.< /p>

Ok April 21st crew. What food stage are you all in. I think I have the strictest doctor around. I am supposed to do Protein Shakes only for another 2 weeks..I am SOoooo tired of those shakes!!! Lol

Today is my first day back in the office after 3 weeks off. For whatever reason, I'm nervous!!
I'm also wearing high heels for the first time since surgery... But I bought my sneakers just in case lol

Happy Monday to you. Today is my first day back as well. I feel pretty good. I wore flats today. Lol. But I did wear a lil dress that is noticeably looser than the last time I wore it. Im excited about that.

Sorry to hear that. I know after having puréed food u don't want's to go back to broth. But dr' s orders. Feel better

So today is my first day off Clear Liquids. Im on Protein Shakes. Between the shakes and Water, im full. Lol I havent even got thru half my shake. The nut didn't say I had to drink a certain amount but if I did it would I dont know how you can. It may be because this is the 1st day and my body has 2 adjust. Im just glad its not broth anymore. Lol

I never had a puréed phase? I'm on week two post op diet and I went from liquids to being able to have loose oatmeal/cream of wheat Greek yogurt apple sauce cottage cheese and loose mashed potatoes. I guess that's kinda puréed though?? Hahah my doc has specific foods I can eat at each level. If it's not on the list I can't have it. He musts said that a thousand times!! Ugh! Next Sunday I can have many more things! Looking forward to it but for now I'm happy with not having to have liquids only!! Hah I have my little two oz cups I am measuring everything out with!! This amount seems to be just right!
Thats the same with my doctor. He has a list for every stage and wants me to stick to each stage list. The list for liquids is minimal but soft foods has more variety. Every doc and plan is different

Same here. Im goin back either this wed or mon. I have to try to get Protein Shakes and Water down. I start Protein shakes tomorrow

Come to think of it, how are everyone's incisions??
My incisions look good. Most are healed. 2 are still in the process. One has a lil ooze today but nothing major..2 are so small and healed you can barely see them

Hey Ladies. U went to my follow up appointment today. I am down 20lbs since pre op. 10 before surgery and 10 after. I'm happy with that. I start Protein Shakes on Mon. Will be glad to graduate from broth. Lol

You guys are lucky. Im still on clear liquids til Sunday. I see the doc today so im hoping he will move me to at least Protein Shakes which is my next step.

I think its head hunger as well. I am not hungry but I definitely want something other than what im eating. Im still on Clear Liquids. I would be happy on fulls about now. Lol
