  1. Thank you, I'm super nervous about my consult and I'm scale obsessed to make sure I don't lose a pound. People around say "o you're not fat just chunky!" Excuse me but to me it's the same thing. 4'11 and 200 lbs size 16/18 bottoms and xl/1x tops is nowhere near my ideal. Just tapping my feet doing my consultation count down :-)
  2. See I'm literally at the border line at 200 lbs. Nurse said do not lose anything until my consult lol first time in my life I'm trying to keep weight on! I would love to be 140 that's my ideal though I know the bmi wants us at 125 lol can't see myself 125 either lol
  3. Yea same here nothing but the best of news from these Dr.s in Cherry Hill. I'm excited to say the least

That gives me hope that my thyroid won't hinder my weight loss. I know everyone's body is different but at least it gives hope to see someone with the same issues and getting results, thank you for your post! :-)

    Thyroid issues

I suffer from hypothyroidism which was never there untill the birth of my daughter. Since then its been a struggle for me and weight which prior I had zero issues with. I'm concern how my hypo will play out with me losing weight after VSG. from the few people in other networks I've heard their meds have decreased, and they seem at least some to lose weight at a slower rate, than someone without hypo. Would love any who has hypo and had wls to please give me some insight thank-you and GOOD MORNING TO ALL LET TODAY BE A PRODUCTIVE SUPPORTIVE DAY!

    Hey Guys

    Wow amazing congrats!
  13. Congrats and best wishes to you also! I see you have a surgery date April 2nd! Congratulations can't wait to have a date also! Keep me and everyone else posted!
  14. Smh, they just don't understand their perception and my perception of what I see is not the same. When you go from a size 5/6 to a size 16/18 within a two year period, and not understanding how or why. You begin to lose confidence in yourself, at least I did. When I was finally diagnosed with the thyroid disorder I felt devastated yet relieved to finally have an answer. The past 5 years have been rough really rough, diets after diets gym after gym and still nothing to show. I have to do this for not only myself but my only child.
  15. Thank you! I have read so many informative forums on here everyone seems very supportive and positive, unlike the people in my life who just don't understand why I need this for myself.
