I too have the same story as far as not wanting to do anything, go anywhere, enjoy my husband, family and friends. It's really depressing. I'm looking forward to telling my story and my date can't come soon enough:)

I do consider myself a Christian, I have personal relationship with God. I too prayed about the surgery and asked God if it's His will that everything would go through with my insurance because I wouldn't be able to afford the out of pocket expenses. I waited for my approval and received the call on the 27th of the 30 days that I was told that it could take. I thanked The Lord and cried tears of joy. I feel even more blessed that God allowed me such a chance to become healthier. I also prayed that my new life style change wouldn't interfere with neither my thoughts or my husband although I met him at a way smaller weight, it's been a while and he's just as excited. My date is scheduled for September 26, 2014. I pray that all goes well with you:)

I got my approval call and my surgery date yesterday!! August 26, 2014!! My date is exactly from the day I received the life changing call! September 26, 2014 is a new beginning for me! So far, working with Dr. Prachand and his entire team has been a great experience for me, I will update during my pre op diet and my post op testimony:)

Thank you all! My surgery date is scheduled for September 26, 2014!! I'm so excited! Now I can really clean out my closet and pack what I'm actually taking when we move!

I received a call today 8/26/14 informing that my VSG procedure was approved on Friday 8/22/14!! the insurance rep also stated that I have approval for the RNY too!!! Now I'm waiting on the call for surgery DATE

I called my husbands cell phone, he's at work and didn't answer so I called the office phone to speak to him to tell him first before I tell the BP forums:) our 17 year anniversary is September 6 so we're having a double celebration!!! :)
