  1. The first two weeks are really tough as I understand. I'm taking the third week to really get organized and hopefully not be as sore and get a ritual down that covers my protein and exercise.
  2. Yes I know what you mean!
  3. Yayyyy it's really getting close! I caught my reflection in the mirror walking through the store today and cringed. I wanted to cry. If I had any doubts at all they're gone now.
  4. I just finished all of my pre requisites for surgery. I have my last monthly weigh in on July 8th and then July 25th surgery. Wow 6 months of every test you can think of! They really put us through the ringer! I just left the chest xray place and took my before pic ewwwww say goodbye to this girl. Forever! 5. Ahhhhhhhh that felt good I bet! Congratulations!
  6. Thank you. Yes I am walking briskly and standing the entire 8 hours. Running all over the place and lifting up to cases of beer. I'm a front end supervisor for a grocery store. Often get one little break for 5 to 10 minutes
  7. I look forward to swimming it's my favorite form of exercise. Especially living in Vegas. Hot hot hot. Lol. Thank you for your responses
  8. Thank you. The girl i know at work came back after 2 wks and she was so tired. Fine the next week though. That extra week made a huge difference!
  9. Ok I tried to search this topic before asking but I found nothing on here answering my question. How long after surgery til you can swim?
  10. I think I would like to be out 3 weeks from work after surgery. I have a somewhat physically demanding job and I do not have time to concentrate on water sipping and protein and what not. During my shift I am responsible for everything and cannot count on much help if any at all from anyone at work. 3 weeks just seems like more reasonable of a time frame to me from what everyone says on here and from observation of people I know had surgery from work. Any thoughts?
  11. OK so I've read on here how many people sneeze when they are full. I always thought it was an allergy from tea or diet coke or whatever I was drinking for me because of the caffeine. I now realize I sneeze every time I'm full lol. Never noticed that before. I know it's not the drinks now because I'm practicing not drinking with my meals. Interesting. Lol
  12. My friend at work had her sleeve in February. She had the same things. Headaches for 2-3 weeks but she is fine and down over 50lbs now! Hang in there. Joining you all in July!
  13. What kind of a space do they have for a meeting
  14. Not 100% confirmed but tentatively the 25th of July. 80% sure. Yayyyy
  15. I know. I'm excited. My husband said I didn't need to go through with it if I don't want to, again. I guess I look nervous? I told him I'm sure it's what I want and need.
  16. My final appointment of 6 will be on July 8th then surgery 2 wks later. Yayyyy
  17. First appointment in February. Now waiting to go in to weigh in for#5. One more month! 6 months takes forever! I'm miserable and so ready to get to losing. It's hot. Nevada is over 100 degrees and the clothes I wear to cover my body is hot! Here's to next summer being a year out and in shorts and tanks!
  18. That's horrible. I got put to sleep Thank God. But you did it and I think you are brave!
  19. Waiting for my 5th appointment. I am required to do 6 monthly visits/weigh-ins and then I'm on my way to scheduling my surgery. It's getting so real now. Getting excited and cannot wait for July! I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. Any suggestions from all you post ops would be appreciated.

  21. Where's the Henderson multigenerational center?
  22. I love that idea. I think I might as well! And then show it off!
  23. Great success! Wow. I not only can't wait for surgery day, but to be a year out with pics like this to show success! You look simply marvelous darling! Awesome job really.
  24. Omg. Wow. You must be excited. Congrats. I know the day will eventually be here, but it feels like I've been waiting forever. How long did you have to wait? Where's your surgery being done? Keep me posted on how you are doing!
