4th follow up
Thursday is my 4 th follow up of 6 required for my sleeve surgery. I feel extra bloated and heavy. I think I've gained 5lbs since last visit. I have to try to take a few off before Thursday. I am a borderline bmi and was told to not lose weight but to not gain a lot either hmmmmm. Is hard to stay the same every weigh in. I think I'm going to do a 4 day protein liquid diet and then watch a little closer what I eat. I've cut out some things. No diet drinks (soda) no fast food. Just have been trying to cut or the sweets. That should help. No cigarettes since October . Drinking a lot of water. Wish me luck.

Saw the NUT today
How exciting! When's your surgery, do you know?
-
Saw the NUT today
That's awesome. They won't let me get blood work done until next week because then I'll be 2 months from surgery. Any sooner and the blood work expires. Let's see we've done sleep study, psychiatric evaluation, psychologist evaluation, stress test, upper gi, ultrasound, ive had my gallbladder removed, blood work earlier on, nutritionist consult, initial consult, chest xray next, blood work, then final weigh ins and meeting with surgeon and the anesthesiologist. I'm glad to be nearly done, how about you?

Saw the NUT today
So I met worth my NUT today. Went over expectations and what I'll be eating after surgery. It really feels real now! Getting closer to the date. July will be my month for getting sleeved. Just the chest xray and blood work left to do. What a list of appointments we all need to go through! So glad it's almost time

nut on Friday
Ahhhhhhhh Thanks kathy. My hubby and I were laying there the other night talking about the up coming surgery and he said he hopes I'm not doing this for him because he loves me the way I am and Just wanted to make sure it was a decision I'm making with the right reasons in mind. He's very sweet. I assured him that it was for me and pointed out all the health issues associated with being over weight and we had a long talk. I think he believed I wouldn't actually do this but it's becoming a reality now. It's getting closer to the day of surgery and I'm not sure he is mentally preparing.

nut on Friday
My first and only required visit to the nutritionist is on Friday. Any advice, questions I should ask? Anything? Then I have blood work again chest xray and that is it. I got results from sleep apnea test yesterday. No sleep apnea. Yayyyy. Two more visits after next week and I am on my way in July to the losers bench. Crossing fingers. I am going to start prepping things next month. Having the house done food for my son and husband and the things I'll need ready. I've quit smoking drink tons of water walk more and gave up caffeine. It's all I could manage these 6 months. Trying to give up sweets and breads this month.
-
So sad. worked so hard
In October I quit smoking. I've quit coffee with the exception of an occasional starbucks. No soda. I am giving up bread this next month then sweets. One small goal at a time before surgery so it does not feel like it's all at once. I've been drinking 2 liters of water a day nearly. And walking 10,000 steps minimum a day

2weeks and 2 months
I don't have classes. I'm almost done with all of my requirements though so that's exciting. I'm sure I'll go through a lot of emotions before this is all done. Just like everyone else. Doubt and fear was last month after my gallbladder was removed. But I moved past it and came back to wanting this really bad again. Maybe that's why I'm so excited.

2weeks and 2 months
I'm glad I'm not the only one. The post about me needing to take it down a notch kind of bummed me out a little. I'm not obsessed. I do other things. But in here I thought I could express my excitement and not be ridiculed. You must be getting pumped up! I need to still do a few things. I have one appointment with the nutritionist required and that's Friday. I have blood work they haven't ordered get and chest xray. Then just 2 more follow up appointments.
