Mostly just within the 6 months time frame. Maybe your insurance didn't require all this?
  2. You look so good. I have surgery in July. Hoping I'm successful like you. Thanks for the pics!
  3. I was at slightly above a 40 bmi as well. I had to go in for monthly weigh ins and was told to lose nothing as well or I wouldn't be approved. I can go as low as 205lbs and that is it. I gained by eating all that I wanted to say goodbye to. I am at 211! I want those 6lbs gone before surgery in July! My last weigh in is on July 8th. I would love to get close to that 205, then 199 by surgery day. Feeling yucky and bloated and hot in this Vegas summer heat. Ready to have surgery and spend 3 weeks in air conditioning learning about my new sleeve and following the doctor's orders. I've been given no guidelines on a pre op diet as he doesn't want me on one but after the 8th no weigh ins will be recorded to the insurance for approval so if I lose a few lbs it should be OK. I went to the gym yesterday. Today going to do my gillian Michaels 90 day
  4. I think I would like to be out 3 weeks from work after surgery. I have a somewhat physically demanding job and I do not have time to concentrate on water sipping and protein and what not. During my shift I am responsible for everything and cannot count on much help if any at all from anyone at work. 3 weeks just seems like more reasonable of a time frame to me from what everyone says on here and from observation of people I know had surgery from work. Any thoughts?
  5. Ok I tried to search this topic before asking but I found nothing on here answering my question. How long after surgery til you can swim?

I just had gallbladder surgery recently and I think it was close to 3 or 4 weeks before the incision was healed

    2 wks vs. 3 weeks

Most check stands have the guns so you don't have to lift things but customers put stuff on the belt any how! Why? And why do they fill those carry baskets only to plop it onto the belt and just stand there like you're supposed to unload it? Hmm. Lol.

Thank you! It feels like a lifetime. I know I'll be nervous but I'm seeing this through and committing 100%!

    2 wks vs. 3 weeks

The first two weeks are really tough as I understand. I'm taking the third week to really get organized and hopefully not be as sore and get a ritual down that covers my protein and exercise.

Yayyyy it's really getting close! I caught my reflection in the mirror walking through the store today and cringed. I wanted to cry. If I had any doubts at all they're gone now.

    2 wks vs. 3 weeks

Thank you. Yes I am walking briskly and standing the entire 8 hours. Running all over the place and lifting up to cases of beer. I'm a front end supervisor for a grocery store. Often get one little break for 5 to 10 minutes

    2 wks vs. 3 weeks

Thank you. The girl i know at work came back after 2 wks and she was so tired. Fine the next week though. That extra week made a huge difference!
  16. OK so I've read on here how many people sneeze when they are full. I always thought it was an allergy from tea or diet coke or whatever I was drinking for me because of the caffeine. I now realize I sneeze every time I'm full lol. Never noticed that before. I know it's not the drinks now because I'm practicing not drinking with my meals. Interesting. Lol

  22. I know. I'm excited. My husband said I didn't need to go through with it if I don't want to, again. I guess I look nervous? I told him I'm sure it's what I want and need.
  23. First appointment in February. Now waiting to go in to weigh in for#5. One more month! 6 months takes forever! I'm miserable and so ready to get to losing. It's hot. Nevada is over 100 degrees and the clothes I wear to cover my body is hot! Here's to next summer being a year out and in shorts and tanks!

That's horrible. I got put to sleep Thank God. But you did it and I think you are brave!
  25. Waiting for my 5th appointment. I am required to do 6 monthly visits/weigh-ins and then I'm on my way to scheduling my surgery. It's getting so real now. Getting excited and cannot wait for July! I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. Any suggestions from all you post ops would be appreciated.
