  1. I am struggling really badly, i haven't lost in 3 months and am only sleeping about 3 hrs per night since my sugery. I have an appointment with a neurologist next week so hopefully they can get things straightened out so I can get back on track.
  2. I hope your appointment goes well and hopefully you won't have to keep going back. I have an appointment with my primary on Monday to talk about my sleeping issues and maybe get a referral for a sleep study. All my labs came back great so I'm not sure what the deal is.
  3. I just stick my fitbit flex in my pocket or in my sock/ shoe so it records my movements on the bike or when im grocery shopping & pushing a cart with my hands
  4. I had my 4 month check up last week with my surgeon and I am having a hard time. I am down 33 lbs since my surgery date but am having trouble sleeping severely.... only getting between 2.5-3.5 hours per night WITH otc sleep aids. and i am not eating enough, dr says i need to get 300-400 more calories per day. it's so hard. i am exhausted all the time and have not been exercising regularly. even when i exercise i still dont sleep well.

  8. Doing good so far started school again so trying to squeeze in exercise and sleep has been hard. HW- 263 SW- 230 CW- 206
  9. Did it taste different? I had sushi once and it tasted metallic to me I was sad because I used to really love sushi
  10. That's crazy mine told me to avoid all juices even v8. I'd love to have juice!
  11. Yes! I have been dying to eat salads! I've eaten a salad every day since last Wednesday
  12. Glad to hear you are doing well. I'm finally able to eat raw veggies again so I'm like you having lots of trial and error. The hardest part lately was having family over and going out a lot to restaurants. Having way too many leftovers! I've lost 18.5 lbs so far and hopefully some more before the month is over
  13. I have the same problem. I'll go like a week at the same weight then I'll drop some. I think it's normal as long as you're following your surgeon's plan

  15. I noticed that my eyebrow hairs are growing in white after my RnY. I was just wondering if anyone else had this happen to them?

  17. I have to go for my one month labs. Late cause nobody told me or put the orders in. Then again at 4 months
  18. Try it just in water and see if it gives you gas still. It could be the protein. Also if you're early out you just might have bad gas. I had horrible gas the first few weeks from everything
  19. I'm jealous lol I wish mine would just disappear but now they are the worst ones I've ever had in my life. I was like this is bs! So unfair! :-)

  21. 4 months after surgery? i was told I could eat cooked veggies at week 5 and raw veggies at week 8!
  22. I have been mixing it with my crystal light and haven't noticed any gas problems so far
  23. Hi All- I am in the AV and just had my surgery last month through Kaiser too
  24. yes I think thats normal. I have been having mine every two weeks since my surgery
  25. I was told by my surgeon not to take regular or gummi vitamins because there isn't enough stomach acid in your pouch to dissolve them.
