If I may know, Why do you say you weren't ready the first time? I'm 21 and in college, it just really sucks having to pause while walking up the stairs to my class or standing outside of class waiting for my breathing to get back to normal. But I will end up calling the bariatric center if they do not call soon. I want to get this going. Keep me updated on the rest of your journey with Alex. -

I'm not exactly sure I'm still on the fence. I'm hoping when I finally am able to meet with a surgeon that he/she is able to help me make the decision. -

I think I will have to call my insurance company and see what they have to say. All my doctor said was that the bariatric center would contact me. But I'm not sure when that will be or what I should be doing in the mean time. Maybe I'm getting carried away but I would just like the process to go as quickly as possible even though I know quick is not what it will be. Thank you for your suggestions. -

Thanks you so much for that. It's sounds like quite a process but excited to get it all done. Like I said my doctor just sent my referral. Do they take forever to call? The bariatric center that is. I know I'm being a little anxious. But I hate carrying all this weight around. It's nice to meet you as well my name is Monique. By the way good luck on your surgery. I'm sure everything will go great. -

Hi I'm new to this process and am curious to know what you had to do before you were finally able to get your surgery date? I just got my referral sent in 2 days ago so I'm not expecting it to be anytime soon but what was your process like if you don't mind me asking? I have Kaiser California Northern.
