My surgery date was March 11th. How are you doing post-op?

I am on fitness pal as Liongoddess. I could use more friends and support and would love to provide support for others. I will start tracking my food when I am at the point of eating solids. My VSG was done on March 11th so I am still on full liquids.

I was sleeved on March 11th and am doing well so far. I am down 23 pounds from when I started the pre-op diet. I am 56, and 5' 3". I am still on a full liquid diet but will be moving to puréed on Tuesday. I would love to follow others who were sleeved around the same time as me.

Hello all. I had my surgery on March 11 by Dr. Illan with Baja Bariatrics at Florence Hospital. Everything has gone very well and I have minimal discomfort. Ice chips are going down without a problem. This has been a great experience so far. I would gladly answer questions if you have any. Good luck to all of you.

Valleriek, I am also a nurse and I'm being sleeved by Dr. Illan on March 11th. Our paths will hopefully cross while we are there. Good luck!
