    Pureed food ideas?

I saw someone mention this on another forum and tried today as I am day 2 pureed as well, and it was awesome. Small Wendy's chili, gave it a whir in my magic bullet. Done. So good. 180 calories , 13g Protein, 4g Fiber, 20g carbs. I couldn't eat the whole thing so it's not even that much. It was really nice to be able to eat something I like. I also did some fat free refried beans thinned with taco sauce last night. Those sat a little heavy though. I'm allowed to have eggs as well. My Nut said that most people complain about scrambled but any other way is fine. I cooked one over easy this morning...best egg of my life after all those liquids and it sat just fine.

    Time off after Sleeve

Well, I didn't know how long I was supposed to take off, but I had my surgery 2/6/14 and I've been back at work since Monday the 10th. I am self employed so I don't get sick time etc. I'm not gonna lie, two days after the surgery I was like no way. However, I think I am feeling better because I am not sitting in bed. I am at my office and meeting with clients and walking around. I am tired and ready for bed about 8:00pm, but no more than before. The only difficult part so far is making sure I remember to eat and drink properly to keep myself from getting an upset stomach. The first two days were difficult because I hadn't figured out when to eat or drink to keep my tummy from being upset. It seems like if I wait t0o long to eat, I feel nauseated instead of the normal growling tummy. Anyone else get that? I hope that doesn't last.

    Sleeping on your belly

I am definitely a stomach sleeper as well and haven't been able to sleep on my stomach yet. I'm a week out. However, I can side sleep if I put a pillow to kind of brace my tummy. Last night was the first night I didn't wake up in pain from moving in my sleep. Yay! I would bet in another week or two I can go back to stomach sleeping.

    Oddly emotional post op?

I'm fresh out of surgery too. 2/6/2014, and I have this knot in my throat. I've experienced it one other time in my life for several weeks and my pcp told me it was anxiety. I'm assuming the changing hormones and the sudden changes this surgery have brought into my life is the culprit. On Saturday I was an emotional wreck because I was terrified that I would feel as miserable as I did forever. Anyone else experience this? Please tell me it gets better.
