This is a great topic I wonder why are some peoples smaller & some larger do you think it depends on the persons weight?

My date is Dec 22 I choose that date because its slow around the holidays in the office and I don't have to use up to much leave since I was already off on 24,25 & 26 ..............

I was approved for my sleeve in less then 24 hrs ............. My bariatric coordinator ROCKS!!!! Just got my EGD faxed over around noon yesterday / then it went straight to insurance today I got the call

BCBS (Federal) I was shocked

I GOT APPROVED 2 HOURS AGO I am so excited ........waiting to get the call back for my date wooohoooo back flips cart wheels happy!!!!!

I hope so depends on how fast the office works on getting my paper work etc submitted & I've heard that Dr. Halmi only does Tues surgery's as of now thru Dec I am in the Woodbridge office & prayer for a 2014 date 3 ladies who was in my class all have Tuesday surgery dates (that sucks ) that means its only 9 more Tuesday I hope they are not all taking but I am super excited when I started this journey in Feb I thought the ending would never come I was patient and I am here waiting approval

OMG so sorry to hear that, have you completed all your requirements & maybe you should may a visist in person. I called today and got a answer but called all last week and no answer.

Finally finish every thing Just contact the office and they started they just got my last test into day The prob is how long will it take for them to submitted to the insurance company Been going thru this process since Feb 2014 never seen so many Dr and been giving the run around in my life I am thankful that it is all over just praying for a Dec or sooner date I really need someone to chat with before I lose my mind lol PLEASE speed the process up ...............Seems like Dr offices tend to slack off over the holidays Thanks for allow me to rant everyone :-)

@@RedDirtRoads I know I am a tab bit frustrated I think mainly because to be honest I was done with the classes in Aug however my lab test held me up I wasn't able to get a date until 10/20 the one I had schedule before then the office canceled on my the day before so I am exhausted I just want to go to bed wake up & its all over ......or at least get a 2014 date

I went Twice (2) 1st time initial write up/ questions up 2nd time to go over and make sure ever thing was correct (each appt took about 30 mins (just basic question about weight lost family history etc.....)

Hi Ladiec2 I had to have a EDG done that was my hold up for some reason it wasn't marked on my paper work so I thought I was completed and wonder why I did receive a call ughhhhhh good thing I called Leslie. I used "Associates in Gastroenterology" www.AssocGI.com the office is located 14010 Smoketown Rd Suite 117 Woodbridge VA 703-365-9085 for my Psych eval I use Dr Levine his office was in Alexandria VA he is actually on the sheet of PSYCH that Blue Point gave me GOOD LUCK" keep me posted

Hi Ladiec2 That the only thing that I dislike is buying there shakes & vitamins which is way to expensive I thought about calling the nut and asking if I can purchase my own , however I just finish my 6 weeks all test completed just waiting for them to submit to insurance and I will be on my way to a new journey

I am also looking forward to Dec completed all the 6 month classes, done all test except the EDG which was suppose to be last month ughhhh so its holding me back I so wanted to get the surgery this month

I am in NOVA Dr Halmi will be my surgeon as well. I have 1 more test to complete and then they can submit insurance so I prob will not be having surgery until Nov / early Dec

I am also using Blue Point Surgical Group they are awesome :-)
