  1. Weight loss is slow but steady. So far I've lost 59 lbs since April 16th. In other news: I recently found a way to bring in a little income from the internet. If interested visit: http://www.clixsense.com/?6408553 You won't be able to retire from the income (like some people may claim), but I've made $75.00 in my first month.

  2. The scale finally moved after 10 days! I've lost another pound; it's not much but I'll take it. :)

Every pound adds up, so,that's greats that the scale moved.

Woohoo! Every pound counts! I am just breaking this rut I am in...it took me over a month of bouncing up and down to finally go down and stay down.

  3. As an introvert bordering on hermit, going back to work this week has presented its own set of challenges. And since having my surgery, food is no longer a way to cope with stress. I am in desperate need of some down time to decompress and regroup. *Just Breathe*

Eeeek ! You sound a bit like me ! I love people but dealing with public ( my job ) can wear me out ! I need to hibernate to recharge my batteries sometimes ! Ive found walking/ running a great way to decompress, also baking for co workers, reading / pinterest and a hot cup of tea do wonders for me . Hope you find a healthy way to deal with your stress ! Goid luck !

  6. Glad to have hubby back home, even if it's just for a couple of days. Miss him when he's working out of town.

I've been there, done that. My husband worked a couple of states away for months on end and it is rough. He's retired now and I occasionally travel for business - so roles are reversed.

If you can, get together with a friend since you have the opportunity.

I use Gas X stripes and it takes away my gas pain.

  8. Trying out and reviewing methods of making money online. Should be an interesting experiment. Here's a referral link to one of the sites. Check it out and share with friends. Feedback appreciated. http://Youthweeklypay.com/?invite=78509

  9. Can't wait to go to my follow up in the morning and have this JP drain removed. Maybe then I can start to feel a little bit normal.

Why do you have a drain and what is a JP drain?

After my surgery, they left a JP (Jackson-Pratt) drain in to keep fluid from building up and causing infection or delaying healing. It was more a nuisance than anything. Here is a picture of one: http://tickingtimebombs.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/en2410845.jpg

  10. Surgery tomorrow! You wait years for something to happen and when it finally does, it feels surreal. I'm a bit anxious, but also excited and optimistic. Can't wait!

  11. My unflavored protein powder tastes like chicken broth and chalk. Mixing with Crystal Light was a bad idea.

I also use Jay Robb Protein Powder and enjoy it. I have used the chocolate and also the vanilla. It also comes in strawberry. You can find it at Whole Foods, Amazon and eBay. It's not overly sweet and it's made with Stevia.

Eww ... yea - I use slim fast and then add the unflavored protein to add more protein to it, with skim milk it boosts it to 22 grams of protein. (Just a suggestion) :)

I use the Body Fortress from Walmart. They have five different flavors. I always make smoothies. Right now I am doing a ten day fast with only protein shakes.
