  1. I know you have been through so much. But when you think back - - - would you ever think someone would tell you not to lose another lb. LOL I hope I get to that point. Just kidding but lol
  2. You look fantastic. Good for you.
  3. You will do fine. I had a friend bring me home. They stayed for a little while then left. Just make sure you have water beside where you will be. Do the dogs go out on their own or you walk them. Walking is good but don't over do it the first couple days or have them pull you.
  4. Don't worry. I got my CPAC machine right before surgary. They will just monitor you closely.. No worries. Good Luck you will do fine.
  5. Everything will be fine. I am excited for you. Friday will be the official start. Best of luck to you. No negativity.
  6. Fantastic. I can't wait till I get there.
  7. How are you feeling? I assume you are home by now. I hope all is well.
  8. I would probably pick your favorite. Definitely stay away from the hollandaise sauce, corn and chips. YOu are on soft foods right?
  9. I was told that coffee has a diuretic and it would assist in you geting dehydrated.
  10. I hope all is well. It will get better.

  13. Hang in there. Remember every day will get better.
  14. I am so happy for you. You did a great job documenting your results.
  15. I was sleeping on my stomach about a week after surgery
  16. I was able to sleep on my stomach about how we can I half after surgery.
  17. You should be so proud. You look amazing.
  18. I did nothing before I had VGS. It is 6 weeks today. I am now able to walk about 1/2 a mile before I go to work. I would have never thought of that before. I also have a bad back. My thought is anything is better than nothing. Actually I do feel better. Hopefully my walk will get longer as time goes on. Good Luck You can do it.
  19. I was off for 2 weeks. I really could have gone back a little sooner. I will say I was very tired for a good 3 weeks.
  20. You will be fine. I can understand the concern. I was a lucky one and the surgary was not bad at all. I felt almost like normal by 2 1/2 week. Mainly the food portions will be changed. I know before I had surgery I had all the same emotions. Excited scared. I have not had wine yet. My dr wants me to hold off for at least 6 months or longer. Hang in there. This is a great tool.
  21. It is better to know these things now and when it's too late. I'm sure you really didn't want to hear that news but if you think about it it could be saving your life. Hang in there this too will pass. Good luck.
  22. Congrats. Wonderful news.
  23. I didn't get nauseous but I had a severe headache. It actually was calls from my pain medicine
  24. I am 5 weeks out. I have never been nauseous. I have not had trouble with any soft food. The only think I have trouble with is Water. Food goes down fine ( I almost wish it didn't. I feel like I am eating too much.) But water feels like it gets stuck. Go figure. I am having trouble getting all of my water in.
