  1. Bufflehead would you please share some recipes? I love yummy coffee drinks!
  2. I have been stalling for 2-3 weeks too! Or up & down 2-3 lbs. I'm sure it must be fluid. I'm not eating enough to really gain!! Just keep up the great work! You are doing fantastic!
  3. Darianna congrats!!! So proud for you!
  4. Still in progress! But so excited. Down 90lbs in 5 months
  5. Me too! My xiphoid process sticks out too & I was worried it was broken!! My husband said if it was broken I would probably be dead! Haha. Just not use to seeing it!
  6. I'm glad he loves you & is concerned! I think the one on one with the dr is a great idea. Sounds like you have your eyes wide open. My husband didn't want me to have surgery for years. He works in a hospital & our insurance covers the surgery. He became more receptive after seeing some of his co workers living normal lives post surgery. I believe he is worried for you. It should help when he receives more information. I'm 5 months post op, down 91lbs which is 75% of my excess body weight! I'm down to 1/2 of a blood pressure pill (was previously on 4) have had no diabetes meds since 1 day preop & have a normal A1c, & my liver enzymes are normal! They said that would be the last thing to correct itself. Buying & wearing smaller sizes is great but it in no way compares to the health benefits I've experienced. I do feel its best to make sure he is as comfortable as possible with the process. If you developed complications that would be so much harder on him. Best of luck to you!
  7. yesterday was my 20 year anniversary! Still a way to go but I would NEVER have worn this dress before! Loving life!!
  8. Way to go! Congrats! Will be praying for your wife
  9. Mrslb5 you look great!! Jencovi post the pictures!! We all love you & can't wait to share in your victory!
  10. Topical NSAIDs might be a good choice. But a word of caution, NSAIDs don't affect your stomach by sitting in your stomach! It happens in your blood stream. Granted it may not be as likely as oral meds, but still a possibility. Just didn't want you to think 100% safe! Protect your little sleeve & good luck!
  11. It is harder closer to goal to lose. Are you logging your food? Just keep at it! You can do this!!
  12. Sarahjane!! You look fantastic!! So proud for you!
  13. Best of luck today! Praying all goes well!
  14. Congratulations!!! Hair loss is awful! I am glad I had a lot to begin with! It does seem to be getting a little better. I was 5 months yesterday. I started using the Wen conditioning cleanser cause I can go longer between washing my hair. Shampoo days I lose a lot more hair. But otherwise couldn't be happier! Wondering what y'all are eating? I try to mix it up but seem to gravitate to the same things. I do feel a bit "hungrier" at times now. Not sure if it's in my head or not. But not hungry like before. I have now lost 90lbs! Hoping to hit 100lb loss by 6 months.
  15. Way to go! Congrats!!
  16. You do look fantastic! This shopping thing could get dangerous! It is so much fun now!!
