She is with u always.... she will be your strength to get thru the hard times ......my dad passed away from pancreatic cancer 2 yrs ago so I know how u feel. They would be proud of us for makjng this change to get healthier

I am 2 days post op too!!! Some soreness and gas pain but much better than I anticipated! I'm doing the same as u.. Clear Liquids and medicine cupfulls of Protein Shakes. it looks like we have similar stats too....my highest was 292, first surgery appt I was 286, day of surgery 269..... Can't wait to weigh in at 10 day post op visit.... I'm Melissa by the way!!

Hey everyone I was sleeved yesterday 2/10 in nj and looking for a friend/ buddy to mentor or go through experience with!!!!!!

I'm officially sleeved today too!!! It feels unreal and I'm soo excited. Some cramping/ gas discomfort but my pain pump is doin me good too lol!!! Good luck n lets KIT

Awesome to hear u r doing sooo damn good-- hopeful im as fortunate! Hows getting up n down off couch n in n out of bed? Do u have any young children...mine are 2n 3 n im nervous about them jumping n wanna me to lift them :/

I made it to the doctor in the blizzard!! So everything is set for monday and looking up!! My case isnt first case so even if we get some more snow sun I should ( and the surgeon lol) be able to make it monday...... next 3 days liquids only n possibly a bowel cleanse- ree hows it goin for u? All set for mon?????

I can't sleep I'm freaking out.... This damn snow in nj is killing me!!!! My surgery was pushed back twice already and now I don't know if ill make it to dr tomorrow to get medical clearance and we are supposed to get another storm Sunday night n I'm afraid my Monday surgery will be cancelled :( :(

<p><em><strong>CAN'T believe it is here... I feel like I have been waiting for ever.. Hope I can do this.. I did have a Band back in 2007 and had it removed in Oct 2013.. I had lost a total of 60lbs with it. I'm hoping for 100lbs with this, and keeping it off. So tired of being the "OB" WORD...I hate when people say it.. I am a care taker for my husband in early Alzheimer's so I have to stay fit for me and him. I want to thank everyone on this board for their SUPPORT and great Ideas...I WILL SEE YOU ALL ON THE OTHER SIDE...as they say.. I do have a small cold, but i'm going anyway. It is the kind of cold that if I went to the doctor he would tell me to go home and deal with it. So i'm on Clear Liquids.. and I'm forcing them down hoping to clear everything out... till 12 midnight when I stop drinking. BEST OF LUCK TO YOU ALL THIS WEEK....... Jewelj</strong></em></p>

Hi Christina, I understand some of those feelings. I am having my surgery on Feb. 10th. I suppose it is thinking about the permanency of the surgery that has me a little freaked out but then at the same time it's reassuring. I don't want to continue unhealthy eating patterns and want to eat right for the rest of my life. I just hope it will be easier than what I'm hearing it is starting out. Good luck and hope all goes well.

My date is 2/10 too!!!! I'm anxious n not doing so well with pre op diet. I went for initial consultation in summer n am down only 13 pounds... Ugh

I live in northern NJ. Was sleeves yesterday. I love my surgeon!!! I am a nurse so I was very picky with what I wanted and how my procedure would go. I am extremely pleased with his care. I am some pain today. The gas pains are the worst. Must WALK after your surgery. It will be the best thing. Good luck!!!!
