This is not normal. It should never hurt to sip water!!! You need to pay your surgeon a visit and let them know what's going on. Do not let them tell you this is "ok" or "normal". -

I'm so sorry SugarFreeMe! The same thing happened to me last week except the appt was for my very first consult for referral to a surgeon.. Anyhow it was cancelled due to weather.. I cried for 2 days because I had been really excited about my appt and getting the ball rolling. My rescheduled appt is this Tuesday... I feel for you and I am sorry.
