    The Two Week Milk Diet

OMG, just coming out of my stall........ I hope. Ten weeks post op, eight of those weeks stalling, what a long time. Saying that, I may not have been successful on the scales, ie STUCK, but the inches have been falling off. Gone down from a 30 to a 24!!!!!!! How's that...... This week I weighed myself, and YES.... I lost almost three kilos in a week. I'm feeling very pleased at this moment in time. I'm hoping that this is the end of my stall. I can't begin to tell you how low I was feeling, I was doing everything by the book, not cheating, but I know others were doubting me, but my bariatric specialist nurse said, yes, it was working as the inches were falling away. She was right, but I couldn't see it, then I turned a corner. Hurray, long may it last.
  3. STALL, STALL, STALL Well, here I am at week ten post surgery. Eight weeks of stalling, but it feels longer........ Before anyone shouts at me, YES, I have followed my plan, yes, I am drinking Water, yes I am having my Protein and yes I am exercising. Everyone is saying that I look slimmer, so I took a peek in the mirror, well, yes I am, I have to admit, but I sort of knew that as my clothes are getting soooo big. I tried ignoring the scales, then realised, for me, I wanted to know what was good, or bad for my weight loss, so I got back on them, and I weigh daily. What's wrong with that? I've done it most of my adult life, and I'm sure getting on the scales doesn't stop me from dropping the pounds, it never has before. I talked with the specialist bariatric nurse and she confirmed that the surgery IS working, as I'm dropping inches, and to try not to worry too much about the pounds. Oh boy, comforting, but not !!! Well, this week I have been amazed, I have lost over 5 pounds, hurray!!!!! Is this the end of my stall? I sure hope so. So good luck to everyone in the weight loss x

    2 week stall

Hi bets I'm about nine weeks out. And stalled for seven weeks now. I was panicking, then feeling that I had failed (doing something, or all of it wrong) but then caught sight of myself in the mirror, well I was shocked.... I saw a person, who looked like a slimmer version of me. Strange isn't it. Then I noticed that my clothes were getting too big on me. Then other people started noticing too. But the scales stayed the same.... Started researching then, and have found lots of info about fat being replaced with muscle, so your body changes, but the scales don't!!!!! I guess what I'm saying is keep to the plan, keep calm, don't worry, let it happen, because it will, we're all very different, don't be put off by success stories, thinking that your failing. I got up this morning, jumped on the scales, moved them around a couple of times to make sure they were right, coz I lost two pounds, yopppppeeeee. Success will come to us all x
