I had surgery on march 23rd and am down 45lbs. I think that i could of done better so far but on the up side im down 2 jean sizes and 2 shirt sizes, i can now fit into a Large loosely. Im staying around 750-800 calories a day, whare are all of you staying at? I feel i have stalled so many times over the last 3 months, but i understand we all loose weight at different paces, but its one step at a time. Keep up the great work all!!

I eat as I'm supposed to and work out 6 days a week I allow myself one day to eat small portions of things like chicken wings or fries in very small amounts. This is just a way that I know I'm keeping myself on track and don't feel deprived. This is a decision for the rest of our lives and this way of eating works for me. I also notice that by switching my diet up once a week it helps me to loose weight when I'm stuck. Hope this helps

Hi I'm 7 weeks out and eating about 700-800 calories. Not sure if that's normal but it feels comfortable for me. I'm getting in 60-80 grams of protein and don't do protein shakes everyday I eat 3 small meals and fit in one or two small smacks like almonds. It works for me and I don't feel different anymore it just becomes normal. I've also experimented with all kinds of food and find that something settle well and some things don't. You can't go back so just find the types of food you like that feel good and count calories and protein you will do great! -
I love it my husband and I use it when we go on our walks and try to beat our last time. I really like the app.

You look great! I'm a little over 3 weeks out and I've lost 24lbs, these last few weeks have been slower than the first that's for sure. Keep up the good work we are all in this together! -
I was told no soda because the chemicals make you hungry, but that carbonated water is okay as your sleeve will stay the same
-
My dr says that have of sleeve patients get acid reflux. I take 1 Prilosec daily and it takes care of any heartburn
-
Thank you everyone, I will be patient just need to get myself to not be so obsessive over the scale.
-
2 week surgiversary today and I lost 10lbs first week and for this last week I've been bouncing between 228.4-230.2. Today I was 229.2. I'm getting in all my water and some plus all my protein. Doctor said to experiment with foods and I have, no problems with anything! My caloric intake has not been more than 720, but mostly between 550-650. I've also gone back to the gym and have been walking 30 on the treadmill. Just so frustrated seems I'm working harder and loosing weight now that I was before surgery and now weight won't come off! Thanks for letting me vent :/

Hi I'm Jacquie I was sleeved on 3/24 and am doing really good. Mild soreness but am getting all my protein by doing two syntrax nectar shakes a scoop and a half per Shake. I've been drinking my water and miso soup has been so good. I'm down 10.2 since discharge. Really happy! So ready to start full liquids and puréed foods! -
How long did anyone wait to have an alcoholic drink? My dr said to drink on special occasions but never now long I should wait.
-
I know what you mean....miso soup is really good!
-
I'm having the twinges and gurgling too....along with the burping and passing gas. Wishing I could move on to puréed foods. I've gotten all my protein in for today think I'm doing good

Hi I was sleeved 3/24...day two was horrible but yesterday was better and today even better. Ive only had nausea once and am keeping fluids down well. I am quite gassy bit walking tends to help. I had about 1/3 cup of broth last night for dinner slowly and went down well. Was also able to get 16oz of water and 35g protein shake down by the time I went to bed. Today I'm having no problem getting my protein down. Was wondering did anyone eat puréed soups the first week and if so what did you have?
