  1. Such a big difference! So very proud of you! This is a lot of work and I completely disagree with anyone who says this is "the easy way out"! Makes me want to take an updated pic to compare to my pre-surgery ones already! I'm 4 weeks post op and 27lbs down. I'm shooting for another 9 lbs. before my next appt. which will be my 6 week post op appt. :D

Thank you so much! It's def not easy!!!! I feel like I should have lost more but everyone loses at diff speeds I guess. I'm 38 down since my preop diet. I was 278 on day 1 and 265 the morn of surgery and I'm 240 today. So... Idk. I did encounter a 3 week stall right after surgery tho.

  2. @Heather~ that's great! If I remember correctly didn't you have a stall? I am almost 4 wks out and haven't lost anything in a week. I'm not drinking much Water so I'm going to try to drink what I should today. When did you stall and for how long? It's so frustrating!

I had a 3 week stall. I lost 8 lbs last week and nothing this week.

  3. 3 months out & nervous! I lost 5 pounds first monthb1/2 & nothing for a month 1/2. I have a follow-up with surgeon, whom I haven't seen in 2 months and I am embarrassed about the stall. I have been following the program, no cheating and feel good, but is the doctor going to think I'm failing? The inches are coming off, but a month & 1/2 stall seems longer than most. Does his surgery just suddenly stop working so soon.

That's been my fear! I'm terrified that my body is done. It sux!

  4. I had my surgery feb 10 this year. I JUST came out of a 3 week stall! The scale did not move for 3 whole weeks. Then yesterday I had lost a lb and then today I had lost another lb. I didn't do anything diff. I was freaking out! My nutritionist said our bodies have defense mechanisms that cause us to hold onto stuff cuz it thinks its starving. I just started to work out do I'm hoping that will move my scale more. I've now lost 32 lbs since the start of my pre op diet. I started at 278 and now I'm 246. My goal weight is between 150 and 165. So I now have less than 100 lbs to lose!

  5. Just keep keeping' on. It may go many days like this, but then, it'll turn around. I stopped weighing myself everyday in the middle of my stall. It was just so upsetting and discouraging. But, I'm losing again now and I changed ABSOLUTELY nothing between then and now. It was just a temporary little plateau. You can do this and it WILL happen

How long post op are u?
