  1. I would like to be thin but I still want my curves.. hips and boob galore! lol After that a "ideal size or weight" hasnt been on my mind. If i end up a 0 but still have my ideal shape I'll be happy but if everything just flattens out on my I wont be
  2. in the same boat i try not to pay too much attention to the scale tho.. i do weekly measurement and i continue to lose inches!
  3. In in the same boat! When i talked to my NUT I felt better. I lost alot of weight before surgery and really I only have about 50 lbs to go to get to the weight my doc wants me to be at so, weight wont come off fast for me. Also I do alot more weight training then I do cardio so Ive been "bulking up". I was eating alot of high sodium things like alot of cheese and salsa..so Ive been keeping water weight on me. I have my 6 week follow up next week and by then Id probably be down to 20 lbs since surgery which is still normal! Hope that this will give you some comfort! Good luck with everything!
  4. Im the same way! So far I lost about 60 lbs and I feel like I dont see any difference.. even some of my old clothes still fit me. So in my head I see that I can still wear a 18 and it fits so I know im still big!
  5. All i had to to was answer a 500 question true or false test.. its had the most random and crazy questions I've ever been asked! Every where from "I enjoy the color cyan" and "my mother was/is a good person" to "I have thought about hurting myself or others" and "I tend to eat more when I feel sad"
  6. invest in unflavored protein powder..usual has low calories fat and sugar. Plus its easy to add it to everything. I add a tablespoon of it into my gravies, soups, sauces, yogurt, pudding etc. At first it wont seem like a lot but throughout the day it adds up. Just be careful not to add too much at a time or else you'll end up with a gross unbearable meal!
  7. Ooo yeah I forgot Cavaretta got hurt! Im praying for you honey! I still think it will be pretty quick! Like i said they tried to schedule mine for 2 weeks after getting approved
  8. it would hurt you for surgery! the whole point of it is to shrink your liver and even if its just a tiny bit youll be fine...I know ppl who barely followed the reduction diet and still were fine. If anything they might have to cut you differently to make sure there is room to do the procedure
  9. Once you get approved they seriously schedule you within weeks! like 2 to 3! so get ready you'll def have a Mat date!
  10. You look amazing!!! Truly an inspiration!!
  11. Yea I thought I was ok and ready for it too until I saw that travesty in the shower today! and for it to be soo soon... O well i rather lose the hair and the weight instead of nothing at all I have to keep telling myself its only for a few months and then it will grow back.
  12. I have short hair and its all natural now so I know Im not crazy lol its alot of hair for now...idk maybe I wasnt getting enough nutrition during my pre-op and liver reduction diet? Ive been doing the same hair care regimen Ive always done. Idk it doesnt look like Im losing hair...yet at least so Imma try not to worry but if it gets back I'll be buying a wig lol
  13. How soon after surgery did you notice hair loss? Im only 2 weeks post op and Im starting to see big clumps
  14. You have to think week 3 most ppl start eating "normal" food again no matter if its mushies or pureed so naturally you wont. Its ok just remember its a stall
  15. Haha meant You'll do just fine ZOEY!!! excuse my I havent been sleeping well that last few nights. Nerves are getting to me!
  16. MY SURGERY IS TOMORROW TOOOO!!!! 830 am! Good luck to you!! We will be joining the losers team before we know it!
  17. Ive looked at all sorts of things lol I have a few saved to some wish list too but that LBD is the first things I'm buying.. that and some heel to match! My mo how is considering the surgery is looking to the perfect racerback top!
  18. This is probably the number one thing that I cant wait to buy once I reach my goal weight! When I picture myself "thin" this is what I see myself wearing and feeling beautiful in.. I've had plenty of big black dress lol but never one that I felt amazing in. Sooo my questions to you are what article of clothing do you see your skinny self in? What have you never dared to wear because of you weight that you want to start wearing? Or what is your new favorite piece of clothing since losing weight? Oo and my second would be a fitted leather cropped jacket
  19. Hey anyone with IHA try and get their protein paid for by Insure Nutrition? If so were you approved? And how long did it take?
  20. YAY Zoey! I know you are sooo ready for this! I'll do just fine!!!! <3 <3
  21. Even thin people get stretch marks! and most athletes get them too when they gain alot of muscle
  22. My surgery is one week from today!!!!!
  23. Well i guess me fear is how not being able to stop losing after I finally find a good size for myself
  24. Since the start of my wls journey ive lost about 35 lbs...just eating a bit better and getting half way thru my pre-op diet. I am 5'8" and was at 288...now im 250ish and Im scheduled for surgery on 3/27. Im not nervous about it but in the end I realized that I'm am scared of losing too much weight and looking unhealthy on the other side of the spectrum..I never really set a goal weight for myself because I dont know where I'll end up being comfortable at I love my curves and dont want to lose them all completely......any thoughts on being too thin after wls? am I the only one who gets sad at the thought of becoming a stick figure?
