I'm doing pretty good. I'm still having some pains, mostly on my right side where the largest incision is. I think that is from my hernia repair. I'm being able to tolerate more fluids. It's be becoming easier by the day.

Sleeved on yesterday, so far so good. Pain is bearable. Passed upper GI no leakage. Hopefully getting discharged in a few hours.

So tomorrow is the big day. Excited and nervous at the same time. Ready for it to all be over.. And for my new life to begin!

2 days before my surgery I'm required to do liquid only: (.. also this Sunday I'll have to do liquid only due to having an EGD on Monday the 17th.. We'll see how it goes..

I'm getting sleeved in exactly 2 weeks from today so of course I had to start my diet. To say the least it's not that bad. Started off breakfast with a Premier Vanilla protein shake. Lunch soup, snack sugar free chocolate pudding.. For dinner I'll have another protein shake and late snack fat free yogurt... I can do this!

Had a visit with my surgeon today..surgery scheduled March 26!! So excited..

No..no surgery date as of yet. I have a visit with the surgeon March 6, I should have my date by then.

Just found out on yesterday I was approved for my sleeve. I must admit I was a little bit worried being that on my last appt with the patient advocate @ True Results she informed me I may or may not be approved due to #1 my BMI was not over 40 in 2012 and due toy blood pressure being under control with meds and my sleep apnea is too mild to be a factor to automatically qualify for the surgery, #2 in the course of the 6 month required visits instead of losing weight I gained 17 lbs...I received the call from the surgeon's office saying they needed me to schedule my consultation. My information was submitted less than 3 weeks ago. What a good turn around time! BTW I have BCBSMN!!
