Hi I am from Ohio and also had my surgery on 1/30/14 by dr McCloskey. The hospital and her staff are great. I am going for my 6 month appointment tomorrow. Starting weight 254 current weight 167. If you are still having meetings I'd love to join. Would be great to meet with people who share my same experience and get some tips.

I'M not the same person I was on 1/29/14. I was sleeved 1/30/14. I've lost, gained, lost and gained over 70 pounds 4 times. I knew I needed a life change. I was fortunate enough to have the insurance company and my employer give me the financial stability to proceed with the sleeve. During this past five weeks I have been on this site at least twice daily. Although I've really never posted before the advice and inspiring stories you all share are making this journey easy for me. I'm not an outgoing person and am not real comfortable posting to a bunch of strangers about my feelings. Today I realized you all our not strangers. I look forward to hearing the accomplishments and feel sad when you are sad. I just wanted to thank you all for being there. Although we haven't met and I don't post know that you have helped me tremendously and I am thankful. Wish you all the best in our lifelong journey.

Congratulations. You look so great and so happy. My question is when did you feel your energy level go back to normal? I was sleeved 1/30 and have lost 28 lbs. I am getting very close to 60 grams if Protein and doing great on liquids. But just feel run down. Thanks for sharing your story. It's inspiring and seeing your pics makes this journey all worth it.

I'm sorry your not feeling well. I had my surgery on 1/30 and the first coupe days were pretty rough for me. I started feeling better about 6 days post op. Only issue I still have is I get so tired. Once you get home just relax and hopefully you'll get more rest. Good luck.
