    PA - Pittsburgh!

Hi Spazdd! We haven't had a meeting yet. I must admit that I have dropped the ball a bit. If you have any suggestions as to where we might have our first meeting please let me know. Good luck at your appointment today. If you have the chance to tell the staff about our group, please do. Here is a question to the group....I know we are all spread out, but if you had to pick one of these locations for our first get together, which would you choose... Oakland Robinson Hi. Robinson as I have no idea where the other place is located lol

    PA - Pittsburgh!

Hi I am from Ohio and also had my surgery on 1/30/14 by dr McCloskey. The hospital and her staff are great. I am going for my 6 month appointment tomorrow. Starting weight 254 current weight 167. If you are still having meetings I'd love to join. Would be great to meet with people who share my same experience and get some tips.

What a sad story. So happy you are now recovering and good luck to you.
  7. Hi I was sleeved 1/30. Sw 254 cw 214. Very fortunate no real problems other than still feeling run down at times. Walking 1 or 2 times a week. Tracking food on lose it. Sticking to between 500 - 600 calories. No problems with liquids but I do have issues with protein if I don't so the protein shake. Eating Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, fish, tuna, chicken retried beans etc. anyone still run down?
  8. Congratulations. You look so good.
  9. You look so good. I love how you took the monthly pics. It does show us newbies it does take time. Congrats.
  10. I'M not the same person I was on 1/29/14. I was sleeved 1/30/14. I've lost, gained, lost and gained over 70 pounds 4 times. I knew I needed a life change. I was fortunate enough to have the insurance company and my employer give me the financial stability to proceed with the sleeve. During this past five weeks I have been on this site at least twice daily. Although I've really never posted before the advice and inspiring stories you all share are making this journey easy for me. I'm not an outgoing person and am not real comfortable posting to a bunch of strangers about my feelings. Today I realized you all our not strangers. I look forward to hearing the accomplishments and feel sad when you are sad. I just wanted to thank you all for being there. Although we haven't met and I don't post know that you have helped me tremendously and I am thankful. Wish you all the best in our lifelong journey.
