    HELP PLEASE

I'm 5 months Post-Op Sleeve & 4 months Post-Op Gallbladder. I'm finally getting back on track & I've purchased a Pedometer/Exercise Pal by New Balance & have downloaded "My Fitness Pal" app to my IPad. My REAL question is, has ANYONE been told a "CALORIE & CARBOHYDRATE LIMIT" to stay within on a daily basis? THANK YOU ALL!

It can be a quick or lengthy process. I wish u luck. Im hoping in the last couple weeks u have found something out. Keep me posted and any help or encouragement i can offer let me know. I've just hit 4 months Post Op & I'm around 46-47 pounds & I want loose at least that much more. I was doing so good; first week, 18 pounds, & then my Gallbladder went crazy! Nothing would stay in my body! I had to get fluids, & my Potassium was so dangerously low I was at high risk for a Heart Attack. It's been at battle but I think I'm finally getting on the right track! I'm taking my Proteins shakes, that I actually don't mind, & eating healthy. If you're interested please respond on here & let me know b/c I'm not sure how the in & outs are of the group! Hope to hear soon! Alicha

    Where are the Mississippi Sleevers?

There is an AMAZING group of Bariatric Surgical Specialist in Louisiana & Mississippi. They are SURGICAL SPECIALIST OF LOUISIANA & MISSISSIPPI, & their # (985)234-3000 for the office I use, & they can direct you to your closest location. They have a very informational website, www.whyweight.com. The dr I use is Dr. Rachel Moore & she is top-notch! After 19 years in Medical Field, I've experienced, seen & witnessed it all. I floated from ER, all ICU Units, OR & Trauma, & I know all about physician credentials, what flags to look for, etc. so, in short, THIS GROUP IS IN A CLASS OF THEIR OWN! Take a few minutes & go check out their website I listed. BEST OF LUCK & GOD's SPEED
  5. Hi! I had my Gallbladder Surgery on Monday as outpatient & was home around 1:30! I felt a complete & total difference when I woke up! Don't get me wrong, as I'm so very sore I can't stand straight! The Gastric Sleeve Surgery was somewhat "easier" than this. Knowing where the Gallbladder lies & what that have to do to get to it, I can say I completely understand why! The Dr came out & spoke with my Husband, kids & Parents & told them I was completely full of some of the biggest she had ever seen! She said it was all inflamed, contracted & very very irritated. She also checked my Sleeve & did an Endoscopy to make sure all was well! I'm so Thankful to have that thing out of me! So, if you're in pain & discomfort, I would suggest you getting that little demon out! I wish you the best of luck! Keep me posted!
  6. Well I had my appointment today & according to the Radiologist Report "my GB is so contracted & inflamed they couldn't even see if I had ay stones." So, needless to say, I have GB Surgery Monday. I will be so happy to get this thing out & get back on my Weightloss Regimen!
  7. @Teachamy Hi & thanks so much for the reply & words of encouragement! My appt is 11:15 tomorrow & I will post to you what I find out. Please excuse my mess ups on here, as this is only my 2nd posting & I'm still very unfamiliar with it.
  8. Moor row is my 1 month Post-Op & I'm pretty certain I'm going to have my Gallbladder taken out. At about 2 1/2 weeks, I started having severe nausea & vomiting. Due to those symptoms, I've been unable to take ANY Vitamins or Protein intake. I'm extremely disappointed right now. As a previous nurse for 19 years, I know that the #1 cause of Gallstones is rapid weight loss. I will be so glad to get back to normal & get my weight loss back on track! Has anyone else had these complications? Thanks, Alicha

    Input needed; protein shakes/iced coffee

PLEASE HELP / NEW TO SITE Where can I find the "Protein Shots?" Thanks I've been using the Premier Plus Protein Shakes found only @ Sam's Club. They come in Chocolate & Vanilla, & are 30 grams per Shake! Since my Surgery on 1/6, I have to split them up into half! They are resealable & taste really smooth! At one week Post-Op, I had lost 18 pounds! I go to the Dr on next Monday, 1/27 & I'm keeping a positive, open mind! I had my Sleeve done by Dr. Rachel Moore in Covington, LA. They have offices all throughout La & Mississippi! They are the highest credentialed Bariatric Surgeons I found! Very respectful & excellent bedside manner! Their website is www.whyweight.com Please feel free to ask me any questions! Thanks & Best of Luck to ALL!
