My surgery date is set for December 8. I teach special needs kids for 6 hours a day. Just wondering how much time you all are taking off after surgery.

December 8 for me!!!! Can't wait!!!!

I am having RNY surgery December 8 in Indianapolis Indiana!! So darn excited!!!!

I have waited nine long months and was finally approved for RNY !!! So excited and I have my pre-ops on Friday. Just wondering how long it takes to have a surgery date? I will be having surgery in indianapolis at st. Vincent's!

So excited to finally have my pre ops scheduled!! Hoping for a end of November surgery!!!

I will having my surgery at st. Vincent Carmel. Dr . Christoper Evanson is doing the surgery. He did my lap band years ago and it slipped so now that I have gained all the weight back he would be my only choice. He is amazing.

Well after VEING approved 9 months ago insurance changed the day after then denied by new Insurance then did the three months with the dr. Nut. And excersise specialist.. I have been approved!!! Wow I am still in shock!!

After being denied cause of a weight gain over 6 months, Aetna does have the 3 month program. It's all I got left so I have been doing it. Not too hard in my first month I have lost 10 pounds. U won't be done till October. Sigh!!! But better late than never!! I can't imagine they would deny me for losing weight!!! Lol

I also have Aetna insurance and the whole six months of Dr visits I didn't know I could not gain so of course I was denied cause I did!!!! Well after feeling defeated I talked to the Dr office and was told I could do the three month program of dr visit, nutrician and excersise program they offer. My hospital had a program just for bariatric patients to do so they can get approved. I have lost 8 with it and as long as insurance sees a life style change I was told I will get approved.

Waiting on new approval from our new insurance at Aetna. Approved once then our insurance changed!!!

I pray our Lord wraps you in His protection and covers you in His healing hands. We give you thanks Lord for this child of yours. Thank you Lord for giving her the blessing of a surgery that will change her life for a healthy one. We pray for a speedy recovery and healing that will allow her to give an amazing testimony on what The Lord had done for her!!! Amen!

Yes I have had very stressful days and I feel so much better. Good lick with ur surgery and ass keep posting. We want to hear the good, bad and ugly!! Heehee

That's exactly what Shalanda told me. I am waiting on my test dates but she said she thought surgery would be later June early July!!! So excited to move on!!

Finally got Approval from insurance!! So excited!! My Lord heard my prayers!! Most likely a late June surgery!

Hi urmakin do u have you date for testing? I have to have mine in Carmel. Dr. Evanson did my lap band and removal so he wants me to have it there. They think a later June surgery!!
