  1. I am right after you, so exciting!
  2. I love going to the gym. Hopefully with surgery, I will actually begin to see some of my hard work. My physicians office tells us to work out after 4-6 weeks but to walk walk walk all the time!
  3. Sounds good! I am having surgery in June so that would be perfect.
  4. I just talked to the suregons office . My official surgery date is June 16th. I just applied for a 2 week leave this morning(I work a sedentary desk job). Preop appt is May 28th .
  5. My radiologist who did my upper gi was super adorable teehee.

  7. I'm curious as to how I shall look when I get smaller. I am currently preop but I have very little tummy (I'm 275) so I am def bottom heavy. I am going to do lots of squats to maintain the booty.
  8. Ladies we are getting closer. We just have to get through the month of may and then June will be here. I want to try to lose 10 pounds before surgery. I am going to go to the gym and watch my diet more. I am 275 and don't want to get any higher if at all possible.
  9. I had a bit of a different experience . I went in the doctors office. He asked me my goals after surgery and that was it. It was so simple! I know some people have to take tests and such.
  10. Welcome! I am sort of new as well. I just received my approval yesterday. Looks like ill be having surgery sometime in June .
  11. I think that now that I've officially gotten approved might tell a couple of my close friends.
  12. Guess what I'm approved!! I got my approval in less than 48 hours after it was submitted!! I am calling to schedule my surgery date tomorrow. Squeeee(my excited shriek lol)
  13. I can relate. My physician is only in the office on Mon and thurs..its 3 weeks later and they still haven't submitted. I am taking a leave and just want to give my office enough of an advance.
  14. I was raped when I was 20. I became terrified to leave my home and packed on the pounds as a sort of cover to hide myself in. I figured no one would hurt me if I were bigger.

  16. My mom is the only person who knows about my surgery. She is the only person who will be with me at the hospital.
  17. I was just in the emergency room last night because my back went out and I couldnt walk . I am hoping surgery will help me for a bit better ,I had to have surgery 5 years ago for back issues and I'm only 28.

  20. I work in crisis and media relations in A major Chicago hospital and I consider myself in the medical field. I'm not a nurse or doctor but I am still providing patient and faculty service .
