  4. So I have a bunch of appts next week. I'm just curious as to what happens during my psych, cardiology and pulmonology appts? I've never seen anyone discuss those appts on here. Thanks!
  5. Wow you are on the other side now..I hope you are doing well
  6. I wont be having surgery until June 14 but I am doing weight watchers and I go to the gym.
  7. I will for sure be finding a support group in my area
  8. Hi All, I am in the beginning of my journey. I keep going back and forth on what I should do. I know that I really should have this surgery but at the same time I am scared out of my mind. I have cancelled my appts a couple of times now.. Has anyone been scared or nervous like me? What did you do to help you make your final decision?
  9. My consult is the 27th
  10. This post saddens me. Not everyone started at a smaller weight. Some people have struggles. That person who still "looked fat" to you could have just been celebrating 50 lbs lost. My point is,please don't judge.
  11. I won't be having surgery until July but I don't really want people at my job getting suspicious so I might only be taking 1-2 weeks off.
  12. I know some bcbs does cover..it usually has a higher premium though. Bcbs has faster approvals, especially if your bmi is over 40.
  13. I see you are having surgery at Lcmh too .
  14. I will for sure. I don't think its crazy at all
  15. I am in Evergreen Park, a little north of you.
  16. I am also havingy surgery at Lcmh. I see Dr.Cahill on the 27th
  17. Hi! I am on the south side/south burbs. I will be getting sleeved this Summer with Dr.Cahill.
  18. I would def look into getting a policy that includes bariatric surgery. I know that BCBS does.
  19. I hardly take any pics of myself unless its from the waist up. I hope to have your confidence after the sleeve
  20. You not only look beautiful but you look confident!
  21. I have bcbs of IL and will be having surgery this summer. I was told by my doctor that bcbs generally does quick approvals especially if you have a bmi over 40.
  22. I am for sure doing fmla. I work in central scheduling so I'm in a desk all day so I'm thinking 2 weeks will be just fine.
