  9. Dry heaving is not normal unless you are drinking too fast or have eaten something your not supposed to. If you are foaming you need to go to ER. That is a sign your esophagus near your pouch collapsed. Also watch your heart rate (not over 120) and temp. FYI my worse days were 4-9

  11. Remember, if your feeling hungry drink first, after you eat do not drink for 30 min, and if your surgery is fresh and you cause yourself to puke you can pop a stitch and cause a leak. Try adding clear protein powder to what your eating to help fill you up..

  13. My incisions were glued too. The glue has came off all of them. I think the other 2 are finally trying to close but right when I think they are I look and they are open. Vicki, you will feel stronger every day. My husband went back to work this past Tuesday and I was scared, then on Thursday I was all over cleaning and even cooked taco bake for family for dinner. . Good luck and keep your head up
  14. I have the heater on 75, its never over 70!! I actually love it
  15. I'm 14 days post op. Had 6 incisions. The 2 bigger ones haven't sealed closed and I'm worried, everyone else's healed closed?
  16. I had to stop pain meds because of the same reason. Tylenol worked better anyway. The headache will last about 3 days, doc said it's from coming down off surgery and pain meds

  21. The signs to watch is heart rate over 120 and/ or fever. Your ok with just pain. Hope you feel better
  22. Well your surgery is still fresh. My doc kept me on clear liquids first 10 days post op. If you puke early you can get a leak so don't push. Water is he only importance right now for you. I am 14 days post op and he added cream soup 4 days ago. In 4 days I have tried it twice. Our taste and want have changed but enjoy it because we will not feel like this forever and should take advantage of the rapid weight loss
  23. I think 18# in 3 wks is awesome. I have only lost 12 in 2..
