  1. I was able to have cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup but it had to be strained. I used skim milk instead of regular milk.
  2. Hi Kdiden, this is a great site. Are you getting excited for your surgery. I know I was excited and scared. I just had my surgery on Dec. 30th. It was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I would do it again in a heart beat.

  4. It was the Isopure that I tried. Sorry forgot to mention that above.
  5. So far the three flavors I got I do not really care for them. I got a grape, mango and some blue one. I will be searching for some other type of protein.
  6. I had my surgery Dec 30th and am having problems getting in my protein and liquids. I just came back from Gnc because I was reading someone had issues and bought Isopure it's 40 grams of protein for the 20 oz bottle. It is clear like Gatorade so I think that will be easier to drink then the shakes. They are kinda pricy $4.85 each so I just bought 3 different flavors to try. If I can drink on of those a day plus my puréed food I should be able to get close to 60 grams of protein in. I am lucky now if I reach 30 grams. I will let you know how they work and taste.

  8. I would put a call into your doctor maybe you need some type of other pill. They make the big bucks so worry about you feeling better. Good luck!
  9. I have been having lower back pain, I have not done anything to make it hurt. Does anyone know if this is normal after gastric bypass surgery and what causes it.
  10. Good, question Kristina. I go to the doctor on Tuesday for a follow up so I am going to ask. I know if I drink to fast I get really bad pains under my breasts.

  12. Hi Sherri, do you have the pain all the time or is it just after you drink something? It can also be gas pains.
  13. Hi Kathryn, I had the same pain. Try not to bend as much for a few days. I found that helped and I am not getting the pains anymore.
  14. Yes they say little tiny sips. I sometimes have a hard time getting 40 oz. of liquid in. I just can't do it because I feel full. Keep liquid with you at all times.
  15. I had my surgery Dec 30th. When I came home from the hospital I actually gained 8 lbs. they say it is because of all the iv fluids they pump you up with. So if you gain don't be upset, it is normal.

  17. Good luck! The advise I can give is to listen to the doctors and do not compare others weight loss with yours. I was doing that and they stated everyone's body is different.
  18. Good luck!! That is awesome news.
  19. I had my surgery on Dec 30th and still unable to get all the protein and liquids in. Sounds like a common thing.
